  1. Professional grade USB Force Feedback Racing wheel for the PC. Steel shaft and steel bearings make for tight response and long lasting wear, no slop or play in the wheel. Not like the "black" MOMO which uses plastic bushings which wears out and has a sloppy feel. This is rare wheel, Italian Black Leather Wrapped Wheel. In very good condition, comes with ACT LABS USB gated shifter and squential shifter plate. Software for both the wheel and shifter. Mounting parts. $180.00 Leave a message if interested. 2. Thanks for responding. Sorry I posted in the wrong section. I do like the DFI boards and I guess I'll wait and see what DFI comes up with. PACO454
  3. Well looks like I'm going to go with this CPU the intel Dual Core E6600. I've heard talk about the Asus boards doing away with the 8 phase power part allowing for voltage spikes up and down, which is not great in my view and may lead to power issues and further problems. As far as chipsets go, the 965 and now the 975 are the only ones I can see. As with AMD, some boards supported dual bandwidth, both PCI slots running at 16x full speed, however I don't see this in either 965 of 975 intel chipsets. Some boards now such as ASUS do have Socket 775 dual core support on a nVidia chipset but there it appears to based on nForce 4 chipsets. This is making the right choice for the E6600 a difficult matter since I'm running a nVidia SLI configuration. Thats why I've come here, to the very center of the universe, to ask the mass's, what is the best SLI board and memory to buy, to provide the best stable overclocking, stable power design for the new E6000 dual core CPU. Please post your recomendations and perhaps a few reasons for why you would recommend it. Thanks in advance, PACO454
  4. Yes that's an impressive overclock speed. I gues I'm just used to having things unlocked so more options are there. It would be handy to have but then again I'm just a handy type of guy. Thanks for the responses so far. PACO454
  5. Because there locked. You can't adjust them at all, except for the E6800.
  6. Get this. I just read that the Core Duo E6600 is as fast or even better than AMD's top of the line dual core CPU and the others, intels E6700 and the E6800 are even faster. Ok this sounds interesting and so maybe because I want speed and overclocking, maybe it's time to switch to intel. But "wait" and this information has put a hold on everything! Except for the E6800 intels top of the line dual core CPU @1300.00 plus tax CND, the others E6700 and below the multiplyer is LOCKED!!!!! You can only overclock the FSB!!! This is the worst news possible for me. I guess I'll go with less speed and better overclocking options than be LOCKED by intel. Sorry for the bad news. I hate intel for doing this. PACO454
  7. I don't have either the molex of the FFD power plugged into the board and everything seems to work fine. I'm doing some pretty heafty overclocking too. See my sig for details. Just thought you should know. PACO454
  8. I read there is an issue using this add-on physics cards with nForce 4 based mother boards. Will there be any issue using this card with my board, the Lanparty UT N4 SLI-D? Has there been any testing? I found this info here (LINK BELOW) under section 4 that mentions a N4 issue. What issue? I don't know. Perhaps somebody can look into this and see if DFI users are ok with this new card. I'm excited about this new card. Here's the link to this info I found. Look at section 3 (What PC slots will the PhysX HW plug into? Are there any potential issues with these?). Then section 4 on the following page. http://support.ageia.com/ics/support/default.asp?deptID=1949 Please let me know what you think about the card and anything you find that may be of interest such as this N4 issue, if there is one. 9. Thanks for the suggestion Redrum. An odd thing happened when I installed the WDM drivers. Oh the drivers installed ok, but when I treid to run the default test in control panel, suddenly the system rebooted. Then I came back in windows only to find the same problem is still there. Again there appears to be no errors in the device manager. The system sees' the camera, there is power to it. It appears I'm back to square one. However the fact the system rebooted itself while attempting to function might indicate whats wrong. So again i ask for any suggestions. Please read me org post for information about this problem. Thanks and please help if you can. PACO454
  10. Just tried that and it still won't function. I just did a fresh install about a month ago. PACO454
  11. No the cam works perfectly on my labtop right here beside me. My main system it refuses to function. See my post for further details. PACO454
  12. Forget to mention I have installed a varity of new video driver as well with no luck. Please help. PACO454
  13. I have seached this forum on the subject and it appears others are having the same issue. Their web cams won't function. In one case it's the Lanparty UT SLI-DR and in my case it's the SLI-D yet we both have the exact same problem. I have tried everything possible. Driver installs both from safe mode and normal mode. Removed all files including related .inf files as indicated by intel and did clean install of fresh drivers for my cs431 camera. Everything installs fine, no errors in device manager. Today, moved camera to powered hub, still the same thing-no go. Everything appears to be normal from windows standpoint. Drivers are installed, no errors in the device manager, windows reports the device is working yet no images from the camera. I plug the camera into my labtop beside me and it works straight off. All my other USB devices are working, 4 USB Joysticks, keyboard, mouse, midi keyboard, track IR. I removed all USB except keybaord and mouse and still the camera won't function. I have moved the Camera to each USB port one at a time and each time it installed no problem but refuses to function. There are others with the Lanparty UT n4 boards who are experiencing the same thing. Their web cams won't function. Please help solve problem. Please assume the device is installed correctly with no errors in the device manager. USB reports there is power to the device. Thank you. PACO454
  14. Win XP by default is set to applications. I have tried everything possible. Today moved camera to powered hub, still the same thing-no go.
