  1. ExRoadie, thanks for all the help with this subject. I just have one question, has any one compared a true sli board to a modded sli board. If so I would like to know if benchmarks are the same? I have just recently purchased a 7900GTO and I am tempted to purchase another. Again thanks.
  2. thanks caffeine, running prime right now, had to bump vcore to 1.425 and run htt at 325. 2 hours of prime done, 6 to go.

  4. I need some suggestions on stabilizing my rig; I have been using he DFI Overclocking Guide. So far I have found my max CPU speed to be 2970 MHz (330 x 9) with 1.40v; I have also found my maximum ram speed to be 255 MHz at 3-4-3-8. My proble seems to be the dividers, I have been using the 150 MHz (03/04) so that my CPU will run at 2970 and my ram will run at 247 MHz. With these settings I am able to boot in to windows, but Prime fails with in 1 min. My ram is Samsung UCCC and I have some really loose timings right now.   5. Not to hijack the thread, but can someone tell me if 46C is too hot? Dual Priming at 2925 with SI-120 and Panaflo 103CFM; also ambient is 80F(27C). Idle is around 35 C as well.

  7. Okay, I am in the process of setting up my PC and have come across an error. After the initial startup and all of the IDE/SATA devices are recognized, lastly the PCI devices are recognized; but at the very end it stops. It displays ACPI Controller 9; I am going to try and disable the ACPI SRAT under andvanced chipset features. Any suggestions?

  10. I ran my first initial startup and all good so far, I have been following the noob guide. My next question, does anyone know what type of ram I have or how to find out? My ram is in my sig.

  14. I am in the process of assembling my PC and my GFX card has not arrived yet. Since I will be just installing windows, is there any way I can use a PCI graphics card till my PCI card arrives?
