  1. Basically it will be as if they are installed on two separate machines. You shouldn't have much of a problem validating it. I've reinstalled my copy of XP many times.
  2. Pretty sweet, but what's to stop someone's prick little kid from hogging the lines with pr0n downloads? :tooth:
  3. I recommended this card to him last night when he told me he was on a $100 budget. He says he wants something for moderate gaming that will be better than his 6500. The only thing about this 8600 is that it only has 256 MiB of RAM, instead of the standard 512.
  4. It's called "American PC Mod". Basically a reality show focused around a small father-and-son PC case building shop. The father and son are both ego-heads and constantly at odds with each other, and the staff is usually caught in between. They could do mods like an "F-22 Raptor mod", or a Spiderman mod. It'll be totally original, I swear. :tooth:
  5. Before we get too off topic... :tooth: Does anyone know if this virus might've been the cause of my hard drive failure, and if it could cause another?
  6. When are the criminals going to wise up and engineer a virus that attacks bloodhounds' sense of smell? They're already at risk of catching a plethora of things, they've always got their nose in everything.
  7. I just got one of those chain emails stating this virus is being sent along with fraudulent "e-card" notifications, and that it is capable of toasting hard drives. Now, I know there is indeed a virus being attached to e-card notifications, because I delete about three of them a day. But the first time I got it, it wasn't picked up by Gmail and I decided to open it out of curiosity. I was never able to delete the .exe, but it appeared that AVG had quarantined it. Is it true that this virus toasts hard drives, or is it just another botnet virus? I know there's a degree of truth and a degree of hype in these chain letters, and it did say some nonsense about infecting "Sector Zero", so I wonder just how much of this is true. I did end up losing the hard drive the virus was on. The circuit board stopped working.
  8. That shirt just needs strategically-placed ENTER keys. Or are you just supposed to feel around or something?
  9. Now this is the most interesting thing I've heard in a while. :tooth:
  10. So what does the largest city in southern Idaho have to offer, the state drinking well? :tooth: All kidding aside, though, I can see why one would certainly hope that bridge is not on the list of bridges known to be defective.
  11. We've been having our bathroom remodeled, and the remodeler likes to listen to WHAM AM (Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Bob Lonsberry, etc), so it's been on in the house for almost three weeks now.
  12. Apparently at this point, there's 30 missing and four confirmed dead. The All-Knowing, All-Feeling, All-Sensing Maha-Rushie is not in today, but his stand-in is currently complaining about how newscasters are going to use the footage as "entertainment".
