    new build freezing

Hi,yes you are quite right there are only 3 power connectors on the expert board
  4. you only need the drivers on the floppy if you are setting up a raid array,so there is no need to press F6
  5. if you really need speedfan there is a workaround just do a google search i`m sure you will find it and i read somewhere its not just the expert board having trouble with speedfan some of the newer crossfire mobos as well.

    Memtest86+

i think it runs as long as you allow it,and no you have to disable it in the bios
  7. nothing wrong with the nvidia Lan port it is nvidia firewall that is corrupting downloads
  8. @lowboy is there a known problem with maxtors,as i`am running 2 in raid 0 and have not had any problems, would like to know just in case, cheers
  9. if you do a google search you will find a lot of people having the same problems with speedfan on `newer` motherboards and not just the expert board
  10. i had the same prob moved my monitor cable to the other graphic card and everything was ok

    BSOD after short while.

are you running the nvidia firewall? if so i would advise to get rid of this annoying peice of trash, causes more trouble than anything.

    BSOD after short while.

just had i look at my 2x4 pin plugs and their is only 1 way they could fit,are you saying some PSU`s would allow them to fit no matter what way you put them in?
