  1. hey i have just got a opty 170 currently at 2.9 (details in sig) i am having hell of a time trying to sort out the ram timings there are so many options i have no idear i was wondering if some 1 can help me with the timings the timings i have now are taken from cpuz (see sig) ras# to cas# delay is grayed out in cpuz so is ras# precharge frequency - 241mhz fsb:dram - CPU/12 CAS# latency - 3.0 clocks ras# to cas# delay - grayed out ras# precharge - grayed out Cycle time (tras) 7 clocks bank cycle time (trc) - 7 clocks dram idle timer - 256 clocks total cas# (tRDRAM) - grayed out row to column (tRCD) - grayed out cpuz says spd timings are frequency - 250mhz CAS# latency - 3.0 ras# to cas# - 4 ras# precharge - 4 TRas# - 10 just shout if you need any other information. thanks steve
  2. hey ppl iv had my ram running for about 2months now no problems yet *crosses fingers* im running all timings and settings at default @ 2.6 and just over spec on a divider
  3. i havent had this prob with my dfi mobo yet but i know it will happen soon so im gona get my self a spair also my abit mobo the fan has died on that so i got to replace that tomorow its not just dfi that get the problem if u go to the abit suport forum u will see lots of posts about there fans not working its a common problem with all makes and models, just somthing u have to live with
  4. thanks for the help the card was not seated in the slot propely the screws that secures it to the case keeped pulling the back end of the card out so i bent the brackets slightly so the back end of the card stayed in just reformating atm gona get some benchys then screen shots comming soon

  7. hello i have just recived my new Graphics card HIS Excalibur ATI Radeon X1800 XT 512MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) i installed it in to the top x16 slot and connected the 6pin Power cable used a VGA to DVI converter as the monitor i use to test is VGA and i get no display and 1 red light on the frontX LED pannel before that i was using an old PCI Card any idears? thanks all
  8. i ran memtest and prime for 8 hours each and no diffrent no errors in either im waiting for my gfx them im gona get some 3d mark 05 scores ill test it again then

  11. the 7800 512mb ver is a nice card but caus i only have a 19" moniter i thinks its over kill for the price atm im leaning towards the x1800xt
