  1. Thank you for the replies everyone!
  2. Lately, I have been pretty bummed out with how the Rainbow Six Vegas game is running on my computer. I run decent ram, a good video card, and for some reason I feel like the game should run much better. My question is, is it my processor thats lacking? Would upgrading to a really kick butt new FX-60, or an Opteron class processor really make that much of a noticable difference? (Check out my sig. for details) I appreciate any advice! Thanks.
  3. Hey everyone. I was considering on upgrading my current processor from a 3200+ Winchester to the FX-60 and I had a question. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16819103608 For my bios, im currently running 3/10/2005, and im sure to run that chip im going to have to flash. Which would you recommend? I borrowed my friends Rainbowsix Vegas game, and at some points the frame rate isn't the best. I feel as if my current processor is bottlenecking my system, does that sound right considering my other hardware specs in my sig.? I appreciate your responses, thanks! - Tone
  4. Just wanted to get your feedback on which of the two you all would go with? Appreciate your responses. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814130015 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814150149
  5. Which of the four would you all go with? Appreciate the feedback. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231047 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231020 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820231032 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820227210 Im porbably not going to overclock my memory at all if that makes a difference.
  6. Is there anyway of disabling this service which is included within the drivers? I hope someone knows, thanks! I currently use 81.98
  7. Yeah, I have that PSU and its giving me problems...not to happy with Antec right now. Thats why im going with the OCZ Powerstream.
  8. Thanks for your responses. From that thread link, I think im going to give this one a shot? Anyone have this PSU by any chance? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817711002
  9. Would you recommend getting a new power supply?
  10. Hey guys, I have spoken to a couple people from the forums about this subject, but I just wanted to make a thread about it and maybe get some feedback with people who have had the same issue. I have been searching online, and I came across this program which gives you information on your diff. voltages. I have been getting this message pop up: This utility I downloaded is called SpeedFan, which I have never heard of tonight but this is the readings I am getting which involve my PSU... I dont even know what half of that stuff at the bottom means, so thats why I thought I'd ask if that appears normal, and maybe my PSU is failing. I also do not have any power connectors on my 2 video cards what so ever so I know thats not my problem. http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=24480 That is also the PSU that I have inside my tower. Appreciate your comments!
  11. Yeah that totally fixed the problem! I lowered the celcius when fully on and now it spins at a regular rpm rate! I guess the cpu was just too cool and turning off the fan (maybe with the weather cooling down the room). I dont like the fact you cant lower the turn off speed below 25 celcius, but whatever, its all good. I appreciate everyones responses.
  12. A buddy of mine has the same powersupply and is running 2 7800GTX's and other crap, which requires more power than mine. Obviously I dont know because thats why I am asking you guys! =]
  13. http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=24480 There yah go, sorry about that.
  14. Hey guys, have a problem. This morning I woke up to turn on the pc, and it was making this really loud vibration noise for some reason, and I also noticed that the processor heatsink fan wasn't spinning and neither was the chipset fan. I couldn't get it to work, so I came home later, messed with it some more and I finally got the chipset to work which is wierd, and the CPU fan would run for a few secs, then just stop spinning. I have a 480 watt PSU, and I have never had this problem before till now. Now they are both running, but the CPU fan is running at 900 rmps, and my chipset is spinning regularly I geuss at 3000rmps. So getting to my point, I dont know if my powersupply is enough, or somewhere power is getting lost. Maybe even a new heatsink /w fan? I am using the retail heatsink /w fan btw. i have no idea what the hell is wrong, and I totally appreciate your help. I hope this is in the right section of the forums btw, if not im sorry!
