  1. thanks for everyone's reply!! Do you think this will work? I have one on order now! http://search.ncix.com/displayproductdetai...e=ZALMAN%20TECH
  2. On my DFI ultra-D the Northbrige fan stopped and part of the fan melted! Picture here: **DFI sticker fell off and fan is melted!** What should I do? Where can I get a new fan? Do I have any alternatives? Any suggestions would help! Thanks
  3. There is an attched screen shot of the error info. "Error caused by a device driver" I have no conflicts in device driver.
  4. ha ha, I think this could be the problem with my board! I never got a chance to try out a different dvd burner. Time to test.
  5. Thanks, I will try that. I have an extra DVD +/-RW drive here.
  6. It looks like it's the PSU. I did some more testing. This has been an ongoing process for a while. 1. I installed my radeon 9250 PCI card, and just ran 1 stick of ram, 1 hd and no optica drives. booted 5 times straight. 2. I put my x800gto2 card in and the other stick of ram. booted 5 times straight. 3. I hooked up the slave Hd and it booted fine. 4. I then hooked up my two optical drives and it booted 2/5 times. I think having 5 x 120mm fans, 2 HD's and 2 optical drives is a bit much for this PSU. Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
  7. Well my machine keeps crashing. It takes me like 4-5 times to boot into windows. I don't seem to notice a problem when I'm in windows, but I haven't been gaming much. I get a blue screen, just before the windows loading screen, or any time during the booting process. System: DFI LanpartyUT nF4 Ultra-D) Opteron 146 CAB2E 0540 Thermaltake XP-120 2x OCZ Plat rev 2 pc3200 (TCCD) Sapphire Radeon X800GTO2 WD Raptor 74gb - SATA 0 Maxtor Diamond Max 10 300GB 16mb SATA 1 Liteon 52x CD-RW ATA BENQ DW1620 DVD-+RW Enermax 485W Noisetaker EG495P-VE Antec P180 The problem is in my video card or mobo. I have RMA'd both the motherboard and the video card and still the same problem. I tried a fresh install of windows and ran memtest86. My system seemed to boot fine with a ATI PCI 9250 card. What's wrong with my system. I have the latest ATI catalyst drivers. Any help appreciated. NOTHING IS CURRENTLY OVERCLOCKED!
  8. I thought everyone should know that it was the motherboard. I just got an rma replacement and it works fine. I mean it boots, more testing to come!
  9. Well I can answer my own question! Bad Ram beep!! Memory wasn't seated
  10. Well I just got my RMA'd mobo back it's a DFI Ultra-D. The mobo wouldn't boot before, it would just shut down on power up. The new mobo boots fine, but I get one long beep! I'm running: -opteron 146 CPU -1 Stick of ocz rev 2 plat in the first orange slot -ati x800GTo2 video card What could be the problem??? What is this long beep?
  11. Hi, It's mounted in a case. I have tried only Cpu/vid/mem. I tired putting just one stick in the first orange slot. I don't have another video card to test. The machine only powers on a few seconds and then it shuts off. Even if without a video card in it, it should still keep running.
  12. Great DFI support !! Do I have to call a 1-800.....
