  1. Nah doesn't bother me. I guess I'm a little irritated I couldn't find it in a search.
  2. You can use it if you want, but I wouldn't unless I was having problems. You would do it before the flash.
  3. Use small FFT's. As far as stability is concerned, I prefer my rig to go about 4 years without failing. Maybe I'm just too sensitive to BSOD's. I guess it's the Linux lover in me.
  4. lol Sorry. In BIOS you can disable QUICKBOOT. That may help.
  5. Use CPUz ----> Mainboard tab ----> BIOS ----> Date In BIOS load optimized defaults.
  6. What exactly did you touch? If you touched ANY part of the case itself, there should be no problem. The case is grounded. The only way you might have fried your mobo is if you touched a pin on a connector or somehow you shocked an IC or some other semiconductor device. Follow ExRoadie's advice.
  7. I guess I'm as lucky as you are. My install went just as smooth. I didn't even find DFI Street until 3 months after I built the rig, when I started having problems OCing. Imagine that. Smooth as silk build without the build guide(well except for the FSB being set to 250MHz out of the box lol).
  8. Damn that ninja is sexy! Anyway a guy at a local lan-party had that setup. It fit, but not much room to spare.
  9. I got tired of using my calculator and guessing approximate voltage settings in bios. So I made this spreadsheet to look things up quickly. It's not fancy, but I could make it fancy (ie shade dangerous voltage levels in red etc.). I am willing to make more and/or make them better if you can give me the BIOS options. Or if you want to one up me, I'm not the competitive sort. Feel free to use, copy, distribute, plagarize, etc. Here is the excel spreadsheet. PS. I wasn't sure where to put this, so please move it if it's in the wrong place. Keywords: CPU BIOS voltage settings DFI Lanparty UT NF4 NF-4 Ultra-D UltraD Edit: Fixed image link.
  10. Thanks for all the votes and posts guys. Damn. Under 15? That's faster than my son's little vtech fake laptop. I really need to save up and get a better psu... and ram... and cooling solution... and processor........
  11. >< Me:You want to get the Ultra-D. You:I... want to get the Ultra-D. Problem solved
