  1. okay. i will reboot and try it here in a minute. that was my next idea, a little more voltage. i didn't know it defaults to 2.6 and i need 2.7 or 2.8 -- what is "normal" voltage? thanks everyone.
  2. I tried one stick in each slot, no good. I'm using the 6-23 BIOS. I updated my sig. I have a Powerstream 520W PSU.
  3. Hello all, I read the stickies and couldn't find anything to help me with my problem. I have two sticks of 512mb OCZ EL Platnium Rev 2 memory w/ 2-2-2-5 timings. It boots (in DDR mode in the orange slots) but it crashes. I couldn't install Windows; I had to use my old faithful Advant memory. Here's my setup: DFI LanParty NF4 SLI-D (or -DR, what's the difference?) AMD X2 4400+ Toledo (stock) PNY Verto Geforce 7800GTX OCZ Powerstream 520W PSU and of course, the memory. With my Advant memory all is fine. Any ideas? SPD detects the settings at 2-3-2-5 instead of 2-2-2-5 (the OCZ) by the way. Not sure if that matters. Thanks for any help! -Nate **IMPORTANT** PLEASE READ THE FORUM RULES AND MAKE A SIG WITH YOUR COMPLETE SYSTEM SPECS.. !!!
