  1. So the Creative cards can't do digital surround output in real time (like playing Half Life 2)? If so that's pretty disappointing. Xbox can do that.
  2. So the ram dividers do not work? I was thinking about getting some low latency DDR 400 and a Venice 3000+. Will I be forced to loosen the timings and run the ram 1 to 1 to be able to overclock, or do the dividers work?
  3. I'm faced with a few options here: 1. Buy this board, despite problems had, and hope DFI fixes it through a Bios upgrade. 2. Wait for revision 2 of this board. 3. Buy the MSI NF3 Ultra and deal with the low memory voltage settings. And finally, 4. Bite the bullet, save up some more cash, and buy an Nforce 4 board along with a decent PCI Express videocard. I don't know what to do...
  4. Anything else like it though? I might not be able to wait for it to be in stock again.
  5. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820227211 Will this do? Hopefully it'll be in when I'm ready to order.
  6. I've got a situation here... I want to make a computer as cheap but as fast as possible. My plan is to reuse most of my parts from my current computer, a Gateway POS1800. Basically I'm just keeping the drives, the videocard (ATI Radeon AIW 9800 Pro) and the case, but the rest will be all new. I decided to go for a Venice 3200, the new DFI NF3 Ultra board (since I've still got an AGP card), and some ram since my current setup has RD-ram. My main concerns are price and speed. I wanna overclock a lot to get the most out of my dollar, but I'm not sure what ram would be best. On one hand I want to get the value ram because it's twice as cheap and not twice as slow. On the other hand, I don't want the ram to be the bottleneck of my system, and I'd like to run at 1-t without any problems... I'm looking for a gig set (2x512mb). Any recommendations on cheap but fast ram? This will be a big help. Also, my computer is going to be a hell of a sleeper... All of this in an old Gateway case... Heh.
