  1. I was just wondering.. Why is it the length of a cmos clear has any different effect? Does anyone know the technical reasoning behind this?
  2. I have a x800 and my card sits on the edge of the silver guard which sort of pushes down on it and makes the fan hit the edge of the card at times and Im not going to lie it is bugging the crap out of me, its not loud but I can hear it and I just want to rip the whole thing out

  4. Yea I will definetly have to try that bios when I have more time for testing and tweaking
  5. Yea that would be worthwhile for sure, Im thinking about using a bigger divider and taking my cpu higher, closer to what yours is at now. Right now im at 2.3ghz(256x9) 1.49v, 180 divider with ram at 230mhz, 2 2 2 8 1T timing at 3.2v
  6. Damn nice man. I might have to try the 6-18 bios.. What slots you got the ram in btw? I could only get my ram to 230ish stable at 2 2 2 8 with 3.2v, so I put in the 180 divider and have my cpu running at 2.3ghz. I probably could have pushed the CPU higher with a bigger divider after I flashed to 5.10-2 bios but I had to get this computer togethor and stable asap for now.
  7. You might could try a different bios.. I am working on (coincidentally) the same basic system right now so I don't have many answers yet sorry
  8. What I have heard is not to go much over 1.6v with good air cooling, and 1.7v on water.
  9. I am looking into getting some active cooling on my ram also, but I'm not really sure where to start. Are most people just getting fans and figuring out ways to make them stay in place?
  10. I ended up getting basically the same setup as you rootnik, and I am also going with the OCZ Value Series based on all the great reviews on it with the DFI mobo. Only thing I am worried about is it having no Heatspreaders and if something will have to be done to keep them cool if they end up running too hot. Not sure what to do about that. Also wondering, is this memory: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16820227031 Just the value series with heatspreaders on it?
