  2. @Tmod do i need to download all tmods cd versions? or the latest only? currently, im downloading 7.0..
  3. @Supershanks thanks for input i dont have any usb devices connected. I was thinking that before; maybe my system booted faster than HD or any devices that need some initialization to finished. Ok, i'll try ur suggesstion
  4. i get a lot of this issue here, but no one is same with my specs so, i posting this one. quite a time i encounter this problem when i'm going to turn-on my system. my rig will stop in black screen after a beep and stock(hang-up)! when i look in the diagnostics led it shows only one led is left ON. the solution i get is to reset the system..and again the boot problems is gone. what is the culprit in my rig? is the my PCEx or MEM? see my sig for my rig FYI: im using official bios release 3/10 bios from DFI website.
  5. which bios version ur using right now? is it compatible with my mobo? (im afraid to flash wrong bios version )
  6. i have this problem since i got my mobo. when i going to turn on my computer (cold boot or warm boot), sometimes it shows only the bios title, or sometimes when going to detect my processor, mem or VC the system would hang-up(no activity) but system beep once (POST). the solution i did is to reset the system and the POST will be ok. what is the problem of this? is this ok?
  7. Problem Description Dated : 07/05/2005 computer always reboot when the system display verifying/building DMI pool... before that, i enable the RAID config and Physical SATA 1 and reboot. then, i press for RAID setup. I select STRIPPING RAID and add to array. i press [Ctrl+X] to exit. when the system boots again from CDROM, the installer initiates and i press for SCSI and other RAID setup. the installer got an error saying "cannot extract nt*.exe may be corrupted." i reset the system but when reboots, the computer stops in black screen and i look the diagnostic led..the last one was lit. (VGA i think). i shut the system by pressing PWR in long press and unplug the cord. I reset the BIOS jumper and remove everything video card ,memory, floppy, CDROM and SATA drive. I installed again and boot-up..same the problem still exist "verifying/building DMI pool.." then reboots. Dated : July 6, 2005 this time, i remove 1 memory in dimm 4 (slot 4), remove CDROM and SATA drive, reset safe boot jumper and clear bios jumper. modifiy bios priority sequence - 1st for removable and disable the rest. I enable also floppy seek during startup and "Load optimize defaults", and load Win98 start-up disk. when i rebooted the system, it reads the floppy during POST but after listing the device and reads the floppy, the system hang-up - the light still on without any activity from floppy (but i check this floppy from my office is was OK. i created 3 win98 startup disk). so, i presume the disk is bad. so, this time i remove the floppy and CDROM(Secondary Slave) only active in priority, no SATA Drive. i turned the system the POST was successful but when going to read the CDROM the computer hang-up again. (i tried this CD at the office - to boot my computer and it was OK). i tried also the bootable CDROM i created from NERO. i booted the system but when going to access the menu either 1 or 2. the computer hang-up. but two times, the CDROM(WinXP CD) reads my CD and display like this: (these zero's is not as many or less as i wrote here..for illustration purposes only, i cannot count them) trap 0006 ...000 (...lot of zero) ====================EXCEPTION===============================================...== gdt limit=03FF base=0...0 cs:eip=0008:0...0Flags0....0 eax=0..0 edi=0006..024538 esi=0....039 ebd=0..0 .... ... fs=0030 gs=0000 (this error was twice i encountered only.) i guess the memory so, i change the dimm4 with other one. i passed the POST until verifying or builing DMI pool only and it reboots. i also encountered during POST hang-up and some small veritical lines and dots(one time only). Several POST unsuccessful( 2 or 1 led remaining) and blank screen after POST. tonight( 07/07/2005), i will try to create new sets of win98 startup disk and Red Hat Linux 8.0 to boot. I didn't overclocked and used only the bios "Load optimize defaults" option. hoping your favorable reponse....i don't have bucks left for new expense

  10. yup. it makes me bothered. i using only default configation of BIOS and Original HSF together the package. what can u suggest? do i have to buy a thermal compound or third party HSF? i never tested thought my system 'coz i lacking an a component (PSU)..no one sells here in the philippines some high-end PS. i tried only HEC PowerOP 475w on my system for booting only. to see that all system work. I didn't continue to built my system because im afraid to fry my mobo and other components i tried to order in Monarch online..but i don't have Credit card..whew!!...it makes me paranoid about it.. using ang default core.

  12. yep! i created my sig! what can u suggest. if is enogh?
  13. i bought HEC PowerOP 475W, cost my bugdet was tight. it is possible to use (475w) 20pin ATX power to my Lanparty UT SLI-D mobo? i want the default setting and safe boot my pc. i know DFi recommends native 24pin power.
  14. ty 4 replies... but my budget is limited... I need good value PSU but it seems the higher power the higher the price
