  1. If you don't mind me asking, what bios settings are you running? I have the same stepping and I'm having problems OCing.
  2. Same exact problem here. I just started looking around and came across this post which solved my problem, so give it a try.
  3. Both my HDDs are SATA the Raptor is on SATA port 1 and the Caviar is on port 5 I believe (seperate controllers). I did find newer RAID drivers on the DFI site that are newer than the ones on my DFI CD. Hopefully that helps.
  4. I'm having similar problems (BSoDs like crazy) and I have a similar rig. I got Monarch to grant me an RMA on my CPU but I'm not sure if the problem goes deeper than that. Maybe my Raptor is screwed or something. I reformatted, cleared the cmos a bunch of times, reinstalled just about everything, bought a new graphics card, called OCZ... I'll keep an eye on this thread cuz I really wanna know what happens.
  5. Not sure if you guys posted this already but the 704 is still available for download here: http://www.lejabeach.com/DFI/dfinf4sli/dfinf4bios.html
  6. http://www.techpowerup.com/articles/other/114Just found out right now. Is there anything you guys can tell me about 'em that's different from the previous 618 & 623s?
  7. After using this RAM for a while I'm so pleased with its performance. TCCD overclocks like mad!
  8. It works great for me. The only bios I prefer over the 310p are the 414's. The 510's gave me problems.
  9. The 310p does work with the San Diego, read THIS. I've actually been using it for the past week or so. The 510's didn't do too well for my situation but the 414-3 did when I first got the CPU. I just flashed back to it last night so hopefully everything will turn out good.
  10. Actually it depends on what kinda card you have. I believe they're as follows: Nvidia - 100 or 101MHz ATI - 105MHz You have Nvidia so leave it at 100MHz.
  11. These worked for me, I have the same board & RAM as you. But yeah, like they ^ said. Try flashing to 510-3 or even back to 310/310p and see if that works.
  12. This link kinda tells you the differences/changes between them, there was another link that was more informative but I can't remember where it is.
  13. Not sure if you saw this but high voltage might not be a good thing for VX 24/7.
  14. Crap, you don't have any back up RAM that you could try? ...assuming you still get the long post beeps. I had a similar problem with my RAM a while back and always got those damn post beeps, hence my first RMA.
  15. Some good news!!!! I took what the BFG tech told me into consideration and flashed my bios once again. I went back to the 310 performance bios that was so good to me when I had the Winchester in there. After some tweaking in the bios I managed to get good enough settings to get this puppy to pass memtest while running at 275x9 with 2.5-3-3-7 @ 2.8vdimm. W00T!!!! K so I'm gonna start priming ASAP. Keep in mind that with the newer 510 bioses running 275x9 was crap and not to mention the "graphics card" problem is not here atm. Hopefully I've gotten over the hump.... a big butt hump at that. Wish me luck
