  1. my one was same step as you, can overclock to 3030mhz. but it use vapochill cooling. check on my sign.
  2. My venus broad was with s/n:D607000779. When i was connect all things to the broad and try to start it on.everything was on, but on my lcd screen was just show on the venus logo and just stop at there, even when i press the del button still don't show me the bios page.i was keep restart it but still same.so i was keep try to restart it above 20 times but it still same. so i am thinking the company forget to instill the bios in to bios chip or the chip no sit properly. so i was took out the bios chip and reput it in and start the pc again. lucky this time everything done normal. And with this broad i only can overclock my opty170 to 270*10 ,and this broad Max Async Latency( need 9.0 ns) and Read Preamble Times( need 7.0ns) control was weaker the other board . my sli dr broad can overclock to 303*10 and only need 7.0ns & 5.0ns. Hope the dfi team can make a better bios for this problem.

  4. yes. i was using the sli dr broad. you can check my sign. you can update your bios to 623-1 or 704-2bta. that bios was work well with your ram.

  6. Hi all, this time is the 272mhz real memory frequency setting on my dfi nf4 sli dr motherbroad with 704-2bta bios and passed the OCCT, Superpi 32m and 9+ hours prime95 blend tests. Hope the setting can help the members who are overclock the cpu with fsb 270-272 with g.skill hz ram. Kakarot, i also have a problem like you before. when i overclock my 7800gt in sli to 490/1200 the scores still same with the normal speed one(450/1100), so what was i do is , i was increase 1 mhz the PCI-E Frequency from BIOS and test, until get the real scores. my one was increase to 102mhz to get the great scores. *p/s: some card when you overclocking the higher speed, you need to increase the PCI-E Frequency too. Hope this can help you.

  12. Hi, Pls look at my sign to setting in bios. My one is opteron 170 and can easy oc to 3000 mhz. and now i was tring to oc to 3150mhz. You can try 300x 10 for cpu and 5/06 (166mhz) for your memory. So 300x166=498mhz. It should in your memory speed. Hope can help you.
