  1. i bought 8 sets of this Ram.

so far i have used 4 sets.

2 of them are running great out of the box, memtest 20+ hours no errors

2 of them are giving me errors no matter what i do.

Since this is for a business i'm think i'm going to go through all of them, find the errored ones and RMA them to new egg and not take any chances.

  2. Gotcha,

I'm doing stock speed 200, and auto timings of 2325, I upped the RAM Voltage to 2.7.

I've got 8 of these 1x2gig sticks that I bought from Newegg for $185 for my business.

The first set I tried game me about 4 errors in 10 mins.

The 2nd set I just swapped in seems to be going strong so far.

  3. chrism778, you should be able to run you ram at 1T, 2x1gb

Now piotrgurin is using 4X512. He has a "winnie" cpu. So I the best he can do is 333mhz at 2T. This is controlled by the CPU.

HEY! who you calling a winnie.....!!! heheh

Now on a serious note, it seems like alot of people have the same problem as me. some of u guys are alot more screwed up, but a few of you have the exact same startup boot hang like me.

    Now where is my messiah?

  4. I'm having the exact same problem. Mine hangs during bootup everytime unless I hit the reset key. It hangs when I power up or when I reboot Windows.

I have a different PSU than piotrgurin, so I wonder if that's really the cause?

Okay you guys really have to start reading the whole thread.

Once again, its definatly not the psu thats causing the problem.

Also i listed my bios version on page 1. Once again its 3/10 at the moment.

I've ran memtest overnight no problems.

Haven't tried jsut 2 sticks of ram, but why would i do that when i bought 2 gigs.

  5. One thing I want to make clear is that this hang ONLY happens when booting up the system. As long as I hit the reset button when it hangs, it boots up fine. After I'm in Windows I have no problems. In fact I've played a few games, ran a few benchmarks, left the machine on all night, and haven't had any problems. It's just irritating to have to watch my machine hang on bootup and then hit the reset button every time.

    Yep , Same here.

    Any1 else?

  6. After i'd had my computer off, turning it on with the power button shows only the first screen of the bios and only a few lines and freezes. Inorder to get into windows i have to hit reset and then it does fine.

I can't figure this one out. I just bought another ultra-d b/c i thought it was a mobo problem but it does the same thing!!!!!!

Some of you must have this problem because i tried it on 2 mobos and 2 different cases!

Please help...... its soo annoying. 8(
