Please see sig for current set up. I am thinking of upping the CPU to a AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+, getting a pair of matched 1 GB RAM sticks and doing the SLI mod and getting a couple of 7600 or summat. I am looking for recommendations for RAM and thoughts on CPU and GPU choice. Also is my PSU up to job post-upgrade. Thanks!

I've got 2 new Maxtor Diamondmax Plus 9 SATA drives that if I connect to my Ultra-D cause boot-up to be really slow and never get to WinXP. They are listed, both individually and seperately, in the boot up screen but if I enter BIOS and try to set them up they are listed but do not set up. Any ideas ? (edit) when it hangs on detecting the SATA, the drive/s are listed as Maxtor Calypso ??
