  1. That gskill kit should get you somewhere between 265-280
  2. The difference between 2.5 and 3 should be small. This is faster 3-3-4-5 than 2.5-4-4-5 DDR 600 should run at 400 at 2-2-2-5
  3. Finally another reason: The board exhibits the same problem as ultra. Running overclocked X2 the pwmic temps go high and board starts to make low to high pitch sound. While ultra is fairly easy to cool with one fan, expert in other hand needs two or three fans in different places.
  4. I tried data strenth 3 and 4, I thought it would work then after 20min massive error sleep.
  5. I figure it out, yep Expert Runs different than Ultra but not better. Ultra vs. Expert at 280, Ultra: 2.5-3-3-7 Expert 2.5-4-3-7, Ultra 300 2.5-4-3-7 Expert 300 2.5-4-4-8 CPu overclocking Expert Sucks even more, at X2 overclocked to 10x270 2700 it didn't failed but it was making noise like ultra when it pwmic area gets hot so I turn it off. Not my cpu better not risk it. Also it is much harder to put fan on expert than on ultra. Ultra with the fan 10x280
  6. This board is crap, nothing good gonna happened with this board I tried setting from this link http://www.bleedinedge.com/forum/showpost....254&postcount=6 which suppose to work with this board and that ram. It didn't work out errors, errors right away. These setting were as relaxed as they could be and it still failed. After it failed first time I adjusted the setting and relax them even more, in the end results didn't change
  7. I spend some time finally I can enter memtest and do some error free runs, to bad it only last like no more than 20 passes then it hangs. Did I mention the performance from system decreased. So so far, short stable OC, no higher overclock, no stable memory speed. Though I only spend 2 hours on it and so far I didn't gain nothing. I give another shot on it and bye bye.
  8. I can't figure out this board at all. I tried different setting and still can't get to work. I will probably return if it continues to work the crappy way it does right now. On my dfi ultra and ocz 4800 plat, It would run 2.5-4-3-5 at 300 and 315 at 3-4-3-5. Dfi express defies that it will run only 2.5-4-4-10 at 300 stock speed for that memor and there is no better oc on hihger speeds it doesn't even compare to ultra. I wonder if I am doing anything wrong if someobdy could point me in some direction to make it better before I return that back. Cpu setting 7x300 ltd 3 mem voltage 2.9 Memory Settings 200 Enable 2.5 4 10 3 10 16 3 3 2 3 3120 A E Dqs A Dram Strenght 1 dram date drive strengt 1 Max async Auto or 8 Dram responce Normal Read preamable Auto or 6 Dynamic counter disable R/w 16 Bypass max 07
  9. I am running my setup perfectly fine at 2.750 (250x11) vcore 1.5v x 1.1%. My current ram is mushkin redline 4000, I set it in the bios very tight. With tight settings ram runs fine at 260mhz. I ran memtest at 255x11 no errors. Although it fails in prime. This the funny part with one stick of memory I can run prime stable at 255x11(255 that the only speed I tested) or even more. Just by adding the other one it will fail prime at that speed. I used two different set of ram and dividers and the same thing happes. Single channel go, dual channel no go I am probably missing something in bios to make it stable in dual channel
