  1. well, it looks like i just needed to up the voltage to get 100% stable. I'm going to go back to 200 @ 2-2-2-6 and am going to slowly work my way up. So far everything is pretty much default except the volts and timings, so I'll be messing with other stuff too like the tref as suggested here. i wonder if I would need a fan if i was running 200 at 2-2-2-6 at 3.0v?
  2. i got some of this stuff from newegg for 122 shipped, and i'm very happy with it. I did 240 right off the bat at 2-2-2-6. I wasn't 100% stable though, more like 95% stable (didn't have time to tweak). i'd like to see your settings chenid0
  3. what were the rest of your settings? did you leave bank interleave on? i'm planning on ordering this memory soon, and interested in everyone's settings
  4. i think i'm going to go ballistix too- $211 shipped is too good to pass up at newegg. I get charged tax for ordering at crucial, so i have to decide if i really want the flash drive
  5. Why isn't anyone recommending crucial ballistix? This stuff seems so cheap for the performance you get from them. I'm thinking about getting these instead of OCZ el platinums, since its only 15 bucks more http://www.anandtech.com/memory/showdoc.aspx?i=2386
  6. what does the ocz el platinums have (not rev 2)?
  7. I'm tempted to upgrade to that $200 ocz, but I've ran memtest and prime95 all night with zero errors with corsair value. is there anything else I can do to test stability?
  8. then what would you suggest is good for the "porshe" and doesn't break the bank? I got my corsair value for $100, so it would be hard for me to get $250 sticks that aren't going to give me twice the performance.
  9. ocz modstream 520. it's very nice, but stiff cables a bit of a nuisance to work with
  10. I have a 80mm panaflo and it doesn't have an RPM sensor, so it's possible yours doesn't either. Does it have 2 or 3 wires coming from it?
  11. are the nforce SW IDE drivers better than the windows ones?
  12. the thing I don't quite understand is that the nforce chipset drivers have audio in them, and when you install them the sound begins to work- but there are also the realtek drivers on the dfi CD. Are these supposed to work in tandem or something?
  13. My board wasn't damaged, but I definately could see the plastic had indents on it as if pressure was applied over the front panel pins (from karajan of course)
  14. anandtech mentions the zalman 7000 fits on the board, but I'm curious about the 7700 and whether or not it interferes with the 4th mem slot
