  1. Hey. I have a nf4 DAGF with the latest bios. When I first put that bios on, the default voltage for my venice was set at 1.85 volts! I didn't notice for a week untill I checked the cpu temp in MBM. I thought it was wrong saying there was 1.826 volts and 88 degrees C untill I touched the heatsink. The bios was telling me the same thing. I think my board wanted to kill my cpu. That is neither here nor there though. What I am really miffed about is that I have no control over the fsb! No matter what I do it always stays at 201Mhz. I set it to different values in the bios and the bios says the cpu is going that fsb x multi, but in windows it still stays at 201Mhz. Only the voltage options and memory timings seem to work at all. It makes me just want to toss this board. I would be happier with my old nforce2 infinity. At least that worked, and overclocked, like a dream.
  2. They are just generic stuff I was able to grab at a local store. No wonder they were so cheap, nobody can use them! They look just like regular sticks except the modules say 128x4 on them.
  3. Well, is there a socket 939 motherboard made by DFI that supports these high density sticks?
  4. Hey, I heard that high denstiy 1gb sticks were supported by E stepping athlon 64's. I have a venice, but it only detects a 1gb stick as 512mb! I am running a NF4-DAGF with the 4-14 bios and a 3000+. I have only 1 stick installed; 1GB 128x4 high density pc3200. Is this a bios issue? If so, will updating it fix the problem? Also, how can I update it if I have no floopy drive?
  5. The 5 volt says it is 5.97 volts, the -12 is at 0.06 and the -5 is at -1.13. This doesn't seem right at all. This is from sandra.
  6. What is the difference between the nF4-DAGF and the nF4 Infinity? I have the DAGF right now. The pictures look the same: http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/Product_Picture/nF4-DAGF.jpg http://www.dfi.com.tw/Upload/Product_Pictu...20INFINITY1.jpg The specs are identical: http://www.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_s...TYPE=LP&SITE=US http://www.dfi.com.tw/Product/xx_product_s...TYPE=LP&SITE=US So what IS the difference other than the name? The bioses? Could I flash my bios to an infinity and vice versa? Thanks.
  7. I have the nf4 DAGF. It is exactly the same board but with nf4 instead of nf4 ultra. All the components are real quality and it overclocks a lot better than my chaintech vnf3-250 did.
