  1. No, just a router since i already have a cable modem.
  2. I got this old Linksys dummy router i want to replace with something much more modern. I've been looking at Cisco routers and some of them are really good but the price ranges are very high. Something easy to setup for Cable broadband with three computers using CAT5e, and maybe some laptops in wireless. I really need something for security though. I mean security is a PLUS PLUS for me. SPI sounds nice but what about outbound packets? Any suggestions guys? I want the real deal in here answering this...
  3. The Patriot Act is among us gentlemen, beware of Marshall Law...
  4. I've heard these drivers are suppose to also correct the display standby issue as well. I'm still waiting for Asus to put up their 8.70 drivers since i'm running their 8.69 drivers for Windows 7 32BIT atm....

    Bioshock 2

Bioshock 2 is a sick game. Didn't finish the first one, but not awhole lot of changes done to the engine i can see even though they are still using the same engine but supposidly stated that they have made tweaks. Great game....
  6. Yeah, that's what i thought. I knew it had nothing to do with your PSU. Sapphire i stopped buying after a horrible incident with their RMA DEPARTMENT couple of years back. Just got an Asus instead, screw Sapphire.
  7. This processor is the top of the line and that motherboard supports the latest features on the market which are USB3.0 and SATA3. Plus this motherboard supports 2-Way/3-Way ATI CrossFireX/NVIDIA SLI technology. 8. Just make sure you run at least a 24" LCD monitor or higher if you want to take full advantage of the Crossfire setup.
  9. @DZAN I would boot into the bios and make sure all settings for processor and memory clocks/timings/voltages are properly inputted. You can use Dual Channel memory on either DIMMS1&3 or DIMMS2&4 matched colors. So try and get the settings set in properly into the bios and use CPU-Z to verify if the clocks/timings/voltage are correct for your processor and memory in Windows. Than i would run Memtest over night to see if the memory is stable. Let us know how this works out for you..... @ebarone System Builds Discuss build options and any other build related topics. <---Wrong forum?
  10. The registry cleaner tab in Ccleaner is right below the cleaner tab as you can see in the screenshot i've posted below. Ccleaner also comes with "Secure Deletion" which pretty much deletes/shreds files that you'll see in the screenshot below as well and i would use the "GUTTMANN 35 PASSES" option for that if i were you. Now the latest version for Ccleaner is version 2.27.1070 which includes a new feature called "WIPE MFT FREE SPACE". MFT means Master File Table which contains index of files on NTFs drives. As computer overwrite and delete files, MFT will be filled with free space which will contains index of pointers to deleted files, you can now set CCleaner to wipe this MFT free space. PC Optimizer Pro ver.5 is $30, why pay for something that Ccleaner does for free, good luck. 11. Why put in a 4890 1GB in an i7 system when you can put in a 5850 1GB for just $90+ more which is much faster than the 4890 to begin with and supports DX11....
  12. Still the same price going strong, the closest one to me is the one in Tustin CA. lol
  13. If you look on Page 3 it does mention Prime95 and SuperPi which are mainly for stress testing a system....

    Hello all

Welcome to OCC, but do elaborate for me how did you get a system stable at overclock speed when it was unstable at stock speed?
  16. The USB 3.0 interface also known as SuperSpeed USB, allows data transfer at speeds of up to 5 Gbps. This is an order of magnitude higher throughput widespread for USB 2.0, the speed of data exchange which is up to 480 Mbps. 17. It's either a memory leak in the game or your graphic card memory is limited. I know exactly what you're talking about because i had the same issue until i switched that particular setting back from Extra to high.
  18. I haven't been active for awhile but i just recently came back and still have noticed that my previous account username "Mack27" is still on the forum. I know it's a free site but is there a way we can delete that account since it's no longer used by me? Let me know and thank you in advance.
  19. I haven't watched it yet, but will this weekend hopefully. So far the movie has gotten an 8.5/10 rating, so it must be good. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0409459/
  20. Thank you for the memory OCC, god bless...
