  1. Cool! Thanks Reel! I'll try and do the same, but I'll put them in a google web album so you can pick and choose...
  2. UncleDavid was selling like 50' of black tygon before, dont know what size it was.. thought it was 7/16 which would be even better choice for 1/2" barbs... you should see if he still has it or if he used it somehow on his new car :tooth: also check out smallparts.com they have a lot of useful watercooling stuff...
  3. I had the same problem a month ago when I tried uploading jpegs with lossless compression... switching to standard encoding solved it for me...
  4. I'm still seeing both rebates listed on both pages... but one ran out last night... wish I'd grabbed a pair for my friend yesterday, lol
  5. Babe Ruth was also up against pitchers with less than half the skill that todays pitchers have... on fields with shorter fences... Hank Aaron too... who cares if Bonds is a juicer or not? Shoot, I'd be willing to bet a lot of the pitchers he hit home runs against were juiced somehow... Baseball isn't an individual sport, and we probably shouldn't have individual records for it anyway... I can understand Olympic runners, and french cyclists :tooth: getting nailed for using muscle enhancers, but come on...
  6. sorry, just now saw that... For the Horde! :tooth: actually, I' haven't played my character in weeks... been playing on a private server... http://wowtyrants.8.forumer.com
  7. I'm helping a friend out looking for parts, and was wondering if anyone has anything decent they can part ways with. He won't overclock, so I'm not worried about how high the parts will go. 2GB DDR2 800 < $90 Athlon 64 X2 AM2 < $150 (he's looking at a 5600+ on ebay for that) Point me towards any good deals you've found, or towards your FS thread if you have some. I'm looking myself, but I may miss something. I will of course pay for and have the parts shipped to me, since he has no heatware and little ebay feedback, and no DIY-Street login (even though I harass him every day to come over and register :-P) Thanks guys :-)
  8. Hey Jelly, go check out this thread for some home made ones... mine cost me absolutely nothing and I guarantee it worked just as well as the HSPC ones... those things are definitely not worth $130! I wouldn't pay $60 for one... Look at putting your motherboard on the top layer if you build one... you won't regret it!
  9. lol, I wish I could have heard the conversation... next time you do something like that, carry a tape recorder in your pocket.
  10. You can keep your RAID 0 array, as long as your new board uses the same chipset and raid controller as your old one... if not, you'll have to start your array from scratch...
  11. www.movieflix.com - If you like B and C rate movies, you'll like them, lol A lot of older movies that noone wanted the rights to anymore too, lol. Download speeds 4 years ago were good, but video quality wasn't that great... Most TV shows have some sort of official website to download episodes at... that's free and legal...
  12. If you had the money to start a money making internet business, you wouldn't be worried about being able to afford your school books
  13. That smells of the person that lives there calling and having it towed... I bet the other cars belong to that person, or their acquaintances... I wouldn't pay it, make them bring you your car back... get a photo of the spot it was parked in... and the lack of a no parking sign...
  14. Raid 5 FTW :-) even though I set mine up 1+0 I wasn't really thinking when I got it all set up...
  15. try one stick of ram in the orange slot closest to the edge of the board
  16. platform error: bad module ' friends/friendsUI.dll' not loading Anyone else got that when they tried to load a steam game? It's pretty rampant right now, a lot of similar complaints on a lot of forums popping up, so I thought I'd post a fix that worked for me. 1 - move the Steamsteamapps directory somewhere (I just moved it to my desktop) and uninstall steam. Then go back and make sure the Steam directory is completely gone (your steamapps folder should still be on your desktop) 2 - download steam from the steam website www.steampowered.com and install, BUT at the last step, before you click finish, move your steamapps directory into the Steam folder. now click finish. 3 - let it do it's update routine, and log in 4 - play CS:S
  17. oh yeah... go with the 36 gig raptor! you only really need 5-10 gigs if you don't install too much, or install your games to another HDD...
  18. when you say you got a "smashed bashed" expert in the mail, do you mean the box was crushed enough that the board was under obvious stress? If so, save yourself the time and file an insurance claim with the shipping company...
  19. Not ANY CD will work, you'll need an OEM copy. If you try to use your OEM cd key with a retail CD you'll get rejected. CPDMF is right about nliting it too. You should strip/nlite the hell outta it
