  1. thats good, glad everything is getting sorted
  2. (please not this has nothing to do with an 865.23 or whatever, but i couldnt post without a prefix, and there is no "other" ) well, i know this is odd... but i was impressed with my results and decided to share them with you guys! first off, my (and all) palm TX operate at a default clock of 312MHz. using PXAclocker i managed to attain a max clock of 598MHz! i have a few programs i will use as benchmarks as soon as i hunt down some AA batterys for the elcheapo digital camera . programs used are P.Fract, Palm Pi, and Palm Bench. pics to come soon .
  3. Congradulations darkorb, you are the winner . pm me darkorb with you email addy and i will shoot the pass your way . BTW, wow, who has not heard of CS:S....
  4. Well, just thought i would try to do something nice, but to make it a little more fair, and not a race, you have to answer this riddle. the first to solve it will recieve a Steam guest pass for CounterStrike: Source. The man who invented it doesn't want it. The man who bought it doesn't need it. The man who needs it doesn't know it. What is it? good luck!
  5. oh my, do i see a new chipset fan . looks like a VC-RE...
  6. well... you NEVER have to clean them and they NEVER stick like ball mouses. even a cheap optical is worlds better than the best ball mouse . give it a go, you will like (logitech FTW).
  7. i have always been puzzled by the term "accurate". i always slam the sensitivity all the way up in most all my games, but notice the cross hairs jump 4 or 5 pixels at the smallest movements (makes sniping impossible)... is this what "accurate" refers to? BTW i have an elcheapo logitech click! mouse . anyhow, i was seriously considering the microsoft habu gaming mouse (joint effort between microsoft and razer)... looks nice and should most certainly be better than what i have now (i hope ).
  8. would be nice to see nF5 on 939, kinda like nF4 on 754.
  9. here is a good take on the end of the world http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/end.php
  10. i have gotten my feet wet in C++... but nothing more. never had enough time im willing to spend to really get into it.
  11. have you tried hunting it down with frost wire? im not saying pirate it, but if you do a general search for the ravetechnohouse etc genres then you can preview each song until you find it and get the name. just an idea...
  12. same thing has been going on at AMD support forums... even had spam porn threads going ...
  13. *Sigh* just put in my entry... that was allot easer than i thought . once i get a new PSU im shooting for 3GHz+ speeds .

  15. heatsink is defenatly level. i carefully mounted it (bolt through). once i get a lapping kit i will work on the IHS and HS/F base. if that don't work then im going to call the diodes defective and order a new thermal probe (old one messed up ) i still have not ruled out the possibility of a over strained PSU, and wont until i get the newone... *PS* just put im my OCDB entry
  16. Orthos has always been kind to me... which speaking of orthos, im working on an OCDB with my highest overclock on stock voltage (312x9 1.35v). here is the 2xcpuz3dmk01orthos: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/cha...scpus3d01ct.jpg got all my benching done, going to finish her up and hopefully get her posted today .
  17. i think you may be right praz. my heatsink is as cool as the metal legs of the desk my rig is on... defenatly far from the 70°c reported. or mabye its the psu... guess thats next
  18. i got the big typhoon today, installed it as per instructions and several online reviews. clocked it up to 334x9 1.475v and guess what the temp is?! core0 sits on ~65°C and core1 sits on around 72°C... there is no way my big typhoon with its fan going 100% using arctic ceramique, mounted perfectally, is getting that damn hot. at idle at those speeds my bios showed around ~30°C (its hot in my room). so what now? orthos ran about 10mins before it failed... need more volts i guess... BTW, i discovered my cpu is coldbugged ! anyway, thanks for any input you can offor guys, Charlie.
  19. i think DFIs read low. you can always read the voltage off of a choke if you want to be certain.
  20. got my CCBBE from california on christmas . anyclue if the LCB9E is coldbugged?
  21. the big typhoon should provide plenty of airflow to the PWMIC area, if not i will get a 40mm fan to put on it . something that bothers me though... i did research and the CCBBE and CCB1E are coldbugged . so thats why i crashed:sad: . its a shame, i was being very modest with my application of the "liquid canned air" as to avoid condensation. i also understand that the memory controller is what causes that problem, by overdriving the memory. so maybe i could reduce the drives to help nullify the effect? if my CPU wasn't coldbugged then i would have my heatsink friggin caked in ice instead of a little condensation .
  22. sorry to dig this up... but i ordered the big typhoon, and it should either be here tomorrow or Monday. PCP&C PSU next. anyhow, i was doing some stock volt overclocking and came up with this-312x9 1.35v: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/cha...1/312x9_1-1.jpg failure after 17 hours... heat or power related maybe? or maybe its just ever so slightly unstable? more results when i get the BT . oh, and guess what canned air can do!! http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v206/charlie22911/cool.jpg thing is, after the temperature got so low, it would crash... a reboot would instantly bring it back though. is this what is referred to as a coldbug?
  23. last three songs i have played are: disturbed- down with the sickness trapt- disconnected benni benasi- hypnotica (love the bass)
  24. oh yeah i forgot about that one... you would not believe how helpful he was, lets just say he shipped me about half of my current system free of charge... we became good friends until he stopped posting, at which point i called him. last i heard he was having a bit of a crisis . i hope he comes back, he was a good member.
