I stood [sat] in line last night and managed to snag one w/o a pre-orders. Brought it home and had everything unpacked and setup by 1am. Turned the system un, updated the software (500mb patch) went to fire up a new game, put the disc in and GRIND GRIND GRIND FZZZ GRIND GRRRRRR. Dead Bluray drive. Since I had to work today, my buddy was kind enough to take it back to Best Buy and exchange it for another unit, which is convinenelty waiting for me at home.
  9. I'm a huge fan of the Belgian hefeweizens I cannot stand IPAs, and I've tried several dozen hoping to find one I like. Recently I've been enjoying the Sam Adams Winter Lager, although I'm not a fan of their Boston Lager. Another favorite might be considered a mixed drink: Snake Bite. It's half hard cider and half Guinness.

  12. Good deal, I think you'll be able to fix it. Free TV
  13. Last night I saw Chernobyl Diaries. It though it was boring and predictable.
  14. 1. Capacitors 2. Unknown 3. Heatsink cooling coil. 4. Voltage switch? 5. SATA Port. 6. PCI Slot. 7. PCIe slot. 8. Bios LED. 9. EEPROM. 10. Audio output prong. 11. Fan power connection. 12. Front panel connection prong. 13. USB connection prong. How'd I do?
  15. Chrome and IE share the internet proxy that would be in the internet conection setting area, FireFox has it's own. FireFox, if just installed, will not have a proxy pre-programmed. Go to the setting and connection area to be sure. If simply removing the proxy is what allows FireFox to access the web, then disabling it in IE's setting will allow IE and Chrome to also access to the web.
  16. I had the same issue: 32 player maps ran fine, 64 player maps slowed to unplayable after about 30 min. My solution: Upgraded from 4GB to 8GB RAM. Game now runs full specs on full 64 player gigantic maps w/o problem.
  17. Hey there, Clay! Nice of you to put on a contest, I love PCG, but haven't been able to subscribe for a few years now. Member since 2002 109 Steam Games 3 More games on Origin. Favorite PC-exclusive game was Half-Life before they ported it to console. Reason? Headcrabs & Air Ducts
  18. Try a full reset on the router; look for a little red button on the back. Failing that, give 2Wire a call and speak to a tech who can walk you through it.
  19. You only need to download drivers specific to your device model number; the model number will be on the box, or, if you've discarded the box, on the device it self. Look for the model number and download the matching driver from the manufacturer's web site.
  20. You may want to download the drivers to external media before you re-format, just in case.
  21. Check ebay and craigs list for used smart phones, no carrier connection needed just wifi. You could probably find an HTC EVO for about $100. I have one that's been sitting on the shelf in my kitchen since I upgraded to a Rarz Maxx in April of this year so I know they're out there.
