  1. My son checked my computer and it seemed that I was playing with an English, as in UK, and not English USA! Everything is OK now.
  2. No, and I just ran a memory test and everything came out OK.
  3. I've tried over 3 different keyboards, a G15 Logictech, a generic keyboard my wife got as part of a package deal and a Corsair KGB mechanical keyboard.
  4. For the past few months playing during MP in Dragon Age Inquisition only, my character starts looking from the behind the right shoulder to eventually rise to about 10 meters, looking straight down. This occurs by the time we reach the last stage which is 5. On less occasions, my characters starts off looking from about the right shoulder and eventually, as the match goes on, I sink lower to where I'm looking from about the knee of my character. This makes me totally ineffective in playing the game with my friends.. Any help anyone can give will be very appreciated. My rig: Intel Core i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20GHz, 16 GB RAM, NVIDA GeForce GTX 780.
  5. About the last two weeks my keyboard has developed the habit of shifting the @ key to the " key and vice versa. I have tried this several different keyboards and not had any change. What could cause this to happen?
  6. Joystick doesn't work on X Rebirth, game does not see it. I would never have found that update site without your help however. Thank you again for your help!
  7. Many thanks for your help! I want to use this joystick in X-Rebirth. Previously the game did not recognize the stick. Will inform you if it does now.
  8. I had a Logitech Extreme 3D Pro joystick for many years but haven't used it since I updated to Windows 7 64-bit. I tried to get updated drivers from Logitech but all they tried to do was sell me was a Windows drivers update program. I will buy a newer model joystick if necessary. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
  9. XFX finally sent me a RMA. I sent the back card to them and they sent me a brand new one that I am selling on e-bay. A happy ending I guess. The card was only 10 months old when it failed, however, it was about 5 weeks from the time I reported problems with it to actually receiving a replacement. Thanks to all for your suggestions.
  10. Replaced the XFX card with a single EVGA GeForce GTX 780 ATX Cooler GDDR5 PCIe. Everything works fine and I have very good 3DMark scores. Thank for your input folks!
  11. That's what I think too. Just for your information, I bought the card in the spring of 2012, registered it, etc. I tried to start a RMA, however, XFX's request form would not permit me to type in the serial number of the card nor the model number. You can't start a RMA without the s/n and, of course, you cannot reach them by phone.. How's that customer service! I'll never buy another XFX product!
  12. Checked out the GPU-Z but found nothing wrong. Purchased Futuremark's 3DMk. Tried it out all three tests. Got failures on all 3 including the one for low end PCs. I believe my video card is the problem and will probably have to replace it. On some occasions I get a message that the card has stopped working and then it has started responding again!
  13. Video card is an XFX R7970 (sorry about that-typo), Power Supply is a Coolermaster RS 900. Just download GPU -Z; will try it out!
  14. Lately, I've been experiencing many video card failures, i.e. video card stops responding while playing various video games. I used Fraps and am getting 60 fps when some of these failures occurs. I have an Intel i7-3930K CPU @ 3.20 GHz with 16 GB of Ram, and a 900 watt power supply. Any help anyone can offer would be very appreciated.
  15. Thank you very much for your input!
  16. Looking for a very good malware protection software that's reasonable priced. Any help would be very appreciated.
  17. More information: Do I have any N-wireless clients, etc. No Do I need a wireless at all? Yes Do you want a router that you can customize the firmware on? No
  18. Additional info: Present router (4 years old)serves two PCs approximately four feet apart. Internet connection is by Comcast cable. I have been having router issues since the game host is now on backup servers (game is multiplayer Mass Effect 3).
  19. I need to get a new router that's suitable for gaming use. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
  20. I'd like some recommendations on the best registry cleaners available. I have heard that RegZookaWare is pretty good. Any help would be very appreciated.
  21. I am replacing my mobo with an ASUS Sabertooth X79 LGA with 16GB (2x8GB) of 1866 MHz Patriot RAM and installing a Intel Core i7-3930K BX80619i73930K Unlocked Processor. I am cooling this processor with a Thermaltake Water2.0 Performer Liquid Cooler. Does anyone know of any specific instructions on how to overclock this processor? I use my rig mostly for gaming. Any help would be very appreciated.
  22. I wish to buy a gaming mechanical keyboard with Cherry MX brown keys. The keyboard must not be over 21" wide and I would like it to have medium to large keys (for example, the Corsair K90 keys are a little on the small side). Any assistance would be very appreciated.
  23. I've had a Creative Assembly Sound Blaster Xi-Fi Extreme Gamer sound card for several years now. I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit installed and have noticed most of my recent games Battlefield 3, Skyrim, etc. have very low sound output through my speakers and my headset. My audio is fine when I play a MP3, CD or older games but the newer games are not loud enough. I have updated my audio drivers but wonder if this is a Window 7 issue with my present sound card. Any help would be very appreciated. My rig: Intel Core i7 @ 3.2 GHZ 6144 RAM ATI Raytheon HD 5870 Graphics Card 750 watt Power Supply
  24. Thank you very much folks for your input. I believe I will switch my computer goodies to a 120 volt, 20 amp circuit!
  25. I'm considering obtaining a Corsair Professional Series™ Gold AX1200 power supply as part of a general upgrade of my system. My computer will be plugged into a standard 120V AC socket rated at 15 amps. I do not know the actual input current requirement for this power supply. Is it safe to say that it would be about 10 amps max? (1200w divided by 120volts) Any comments would greatly appreciated.
