  1. About the Apple Store, I had my buddy's Macbook for a few weeks and the battery went bad. I went to the Apple Store, made the appointment for that day, killed time until my name came up, then I walked up to the guy, said the battery won't charge, he said hold on, turned around grabbed a battery, put it in and turned on the MacBook, that is it. It was free, it was fixed, and they did it even though it wasn't mine. I have an iPod, I don't have a Macbook, but I like Apple even though I use a PC

  2. Even the ants in South America are hard workers. The American ant would've had one hole going in and one going out. And a porch, where the ants would be sitting drinking a beer thinking they just put in a hard days work.

  3. The most appealling feature of console gaming right now, and the reason I want to trade in my PC for a 360 (or PS3) is the social aspect. It is a lot easier to get friends together when it only takes a console 4 controllers and a TV to play some games then when it takes 4 computers, 4 monitors, plus keyboards/mice, etc, and intelligence to play a game. I won't argue the graphical supeiority that computers have over consoles, or the quality of some of the games, but I certainly won't say one is better than the other. I think for my needs (well wants to be honest lol) a console is more my thing, but I understand where you PC Gamers are coming from too, I used to play upwards of 40 hours a week of Far Cry of all games back before I had a job :).

  4. Old, but still funny:

One evening last week, my girlfriend and I were getting into bed.

Well, the passion starts to heat up, and she eventually says, "I don't feel like

it, I just want you to hold me."

I said, "WHAT??!! What was that?!"

So she says the words that every boyfriend on the planet dreads to hear...

"You're just not in touch with my emotional needs as a woman enough for me to satisfy your physical needs as a man."

She responded to my puzzled look by saying, "Can't you just love me for who I am and not what I do for you in the bedroom?"

Realizing that nothing was going to happen that night, I went to sleep.

The very next day I opted to take the day off of work to spend time with her. We went out to a nice lunch and then went shopping at a big, big unnamed department store. I walked around with her while she tried on several different very expensive outfits. She couldn't decide which one to take, so I told her we'd just buy them all. She wanted new shoes to compliment her new clothes, so I said, "Lets get a pair for each outfit."

We went on to the jewelry department where she picked out a pair of diamond earrings. Let me tell you... she was so excited. She must have thought I was one wave short of a shipwreck. I started to think she was testing me because she asked for a tennis bracelet when she doesn't even know how to play tennis.

I think I threw her for a loop when I said, "That's fine, honey." She was almost nearing sexual satisfaction from all of the excitement. Smiling with excited anticipation, she finally said, "I think this is all dear, let's go to the cashier."

I could hardly contain myself when I blurted out, "No honey, I don't feel like it."

Her face just went completely blank as her jaw dropped with a baffled, "WHAT?"

I then said, "Honey! I just want you to HOLD this stuff for a while. You're just not in touch with my financial needs as a man enough for me to satisfy your shopping needs as a woman."

And just when she had this look like she was going to kill me, I added, "Why can't you just love me for who I am and not for the things I buy you?"

Apparently I'm not having . tonight either....but at least that ###### knows I'm smarter than her.

  5. While I have never cared much about football (my local team was America's team of yester-year), it seems like we are back! How about them Cowboys, see you ladies in the Superbowl this season :)

  6. All [races] are equal, some just more than others.

NAACP is just as racist as members of the KKK are. Its reverse racism, and its legal, if a straight white man is killed in Texas because he is white, it is not a hate crime, change color, orientation, or gender and it becomes a hate crime. Whats up with that? I think its high time us white bigots start pulling the race card too, "You just hate me because I'm WHITE!"

Just for the record, I have friends of many different backgrounds, orientations, etc. and have no problems with any of them :).

  7. What the hell are you doing IMing a girl for 3 hours??? That is rediculous! Grow a pair and limit those conversations to 20 mins tops! Show her whose boss...

Geez... nothing says nerd like IMing a "girl" for 3 hours who lives 7 hours away and immediately thinking that maybe she wants to have a "relationship" with you.

Unless she is smokin hot, and I mean smokin, you should just meet for lunch, hit it, drop her off at the local McDonalds, and then block her on IM... if you take what Im saying lightly, I guarantee you will cry yourself to sleep at the end of all this...

I bet you would like Tom Leykis lol. Sounds like something he would say :P. Agreed though.

  8. I never meant to describe homosexuality's origin had negative roots, its just very hard to make what seems to be a plausible example, and I'm not saying all . people were abused when they were younger, its just one of those situations that can influence a decision. Hell, maybe it was some positive event, like an overly caring and loving father, or a brother close in age to you who was really close to you, life experiences are different for everyone, how we handle these experiences is what makes us unique. No one knows what each person's life was like when they were younger, or how their mind works.

  9. Perhaps choice was the wrong word, maybe I should've said decision? It is who you are, based on your experience in life so far, perhaps a lack of a role model, like a mother or father can change the qualities you look for in someone. Abuse, sexual or any other kind can have an effect on your orientation. Many factors that happen while you developed as a child can shape you into who you are today. Some negative experiences make you stronger, some can hurt. You have the strength to be open, to be yourself, and that's great. It is not as simple as making a U-Turn, or choosing to turn left or right in a split second, one cannot simply wake up one morning and decide to be . as you put it. To decide ones orientation is similar to actually deciding one's religion. It takes time, perhaps an inkling at first that something may not be right the way it is, perhaps a discomfort in some situations, or whatever applies to you. Over time you began to notice this "hint" more and more and as you think about it, and look into it, you see something that you could percieve as different inside of you, perhaps it feels wrong, but it also feels natural. Acceptance follows, accepting who you are, accepting that what you feel is not a problem, there is nothing wrong, it is simply who you are. It takes time, took me 2 years to go from Christian to Atheist and it was hard, I felt as if I was turning away from everything I knew, and many times it feels as if we are accepted even less than the homosexuals, its a hard decision to make, ones that go against the curve, but you are obviously strong enough to think for yourself and make your choices, and for that you get my respect.

"You" does not apply to anyone specific, except the last sentence, which is mostly kissing up to KB so he doesn't take offense at my ludicrous presumptions about stuff I don't know about.

  10. KB: It still has not been proven one way or the other that homosexuality begans at birth. Like I said before though it makes no sense at all to be born . when we have evolved with reproductive organs designed to use with the opposite .. Again, its a choice people make, and I could care less, homosexuals in no way degrade our society as the fundamentalist right would have us believe, in fact, many better our society, but perhaps that is because of the people they are inside, not their sexual orientation. Discrimination in any form is wrong, color, gender, creed, orientation, etc.
