  1. ok... it looks like newegg has an sli compliant one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817101516 i will get that one... what about the video card question? that video card is decent i take it? and i can get by with only one until i get a second? is there anything else i am missing with this system or i should seriously consider? thank you everyone for all of the help!
  2. also, what is a good power supply for this system? preferably a quiet one
  3. I already have a mb and processor here. DFI Lanparty NF4 SLI-DR Athlon 3000+ Venice I am looking to overclock and have some fun with this machine. Here is what i was thinking to complete the pc... and i have a few questions as well. Thermaltake Tsunami Case mushkin Redline xp4000 1gb paired ram 2 seagate baracuda sata150 dvd burner/floppy questions are... i assume with this, i can add only one video card and pair it up later? i am looking to spend about 150-200 max on a video card and i tend to like nvidia over ati... i was thinking this 6600gt from newegg: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16814127147 anyone have any other suggestions? also, if i want to do overclocking with this, what kind of extra cooling will i need over what comes with these pieces? i need recommendations on that as well. thank you to anyone who takes the time to read this and reply!
  4. well, i havent bought the processor yet... so whichever processor goes along with the board i choose and overclocks well
  5. starting with the mb... what is the best one out there or is there one coming out real soon that is going to be good? i am going to build an amd system
  6. Well, I guess I will try what is suggested here... I didnt think I could damage anything taking the mb out and moving it about 8 inches to my other case right next to it... but who knows... Gotta love computers!
  7. Thank you for the quick reply... I did the same thing for the mb standoffs as I have done before... I just line them up with the holes on the mb, and then screw them in... Is there more I can do to make sure it is not a short there?
  8. I just got a new chieftec matrix case to replace an old case that I had... I took every part from my old pc and put it in my new pc except for a new cdr because my old one was broken... When I go to turn on the computer now, the ps and cpu fan spin for a split second and that is all that happens... Then if I hit it again, nothing happens at all... I thought maybe the case was defective but then the switch wouldnt have done anything... Anyone have anything for me to try? I have unplugged everything else from the power supply and still nothing.
