  1. I would have definitely got 2 if i lived anywhere near the US.
  2. Well they dont offer invites for my country so I had to get one from there. Just stuck in the postal system.

  4. It isnt that bad, I have been on it for a year and its a good game
  5. I have almost bought a ThermalTake Chaser A31 from a guy here and I will be shifting my system in that. As fas the temps, I have the yate loon fan at full speed and it gives me around 4C above ambient at idle and around 25C above ambient at full load during prime 95. During gaming, it stays at around 15C above ambient. I am using demineralized water in it now.
  6. Will distilled water be fine too?
  7. thanks guys. I will change the coolant with water and see what happens.
  8. Just a quick question. I ran prime 95 with large FFTs and I got around 50C with a variation of 2C. is that good enough? My proccesor is a core i5 3450 and i have the No-K OC enabled in my bios so it runs at 3.7 GHz on all core at full load with the turbo boost and can go upto 3.9 on single core loads. and would it be better if I used demineralized water instead of the included coolant? because I have heard that the additives in the coolants can cause blockages in the loop after sometime.
  9. thanks. lets hope I can expand on it later on. There arent any retailers who sell custom water cooling parts so I will have to get everything from abroad.
  10. Yeah and I didnt get any leaks so far. Apart from that, the pump and the fan are like whisper quiet.
  11. Hey OCC! I recently got a SysCooling DIY watercooling kit. It has a 120mm rad with a thickness of about 35 mm. As it is my first attempt at water-cooling, I thought I should share it with you guys. Thats the rad with the included Yate Loon medium speed fan capable of pushing 70.5 cfm @ 1650 rpm. The pump is capable of doing 300 ltr/hour and a head of 1.9 meters. CPU block and fittings. CPU block installed with everything setup and running. The fluid is blue and matches my RAM The pump in the 5.25" drive bay. I had to take out my optical drive for it and now I will have too get a USB power kit or an external unit. The pump has a blue LED to indicate its powered up and working but it isnt visible because of the blue coolant. Finally the rad and fan. In case you are wondering i have it outside as opposed to been inside my case, then the answer is that it wont fit inside the case. My BitFenix Merc Alpha isnt that good for water cooling. I have the fan in "pull" configuration for now and I might add another Xigmatek fan in push if its becomes necessary

On the PC site they say that any physical modification to the card voids the warranty like trying to install after-market cooling solutions. So I think I will be fine in that manner and the RMA will be processed normally. The TIM that was originally used seemed to be of the conductive sort so I think that was the problem. It seemed to be silver based and I think that shorted out the core somehow.

Well the ambient is around 35 here as well these days and yes I have a air conditioned room for my pc. The temps were always on the high end for me from day 1. My average gaming temps were around 75 with all that fan setup and the ambient at around 16 during winters in january. They did go down however when I changed the TIM but I think the core was already faulty to start with.

I used Arctic Cooling MX4 which is non conductive and I could see that it didnt run off the die. As for the memory cooling, the devil doesnt have any. Its just left bare to be cooled by the air from the fans.

I have 2 fans for intake and 3 for exhaust. My side panel has vents for the pc to take in cool air. As for the ambient, it was around 25 when the card started giving problems.

It would go upto 84 during gaming even though I have 3 fans for intake and this happened before I disassembled it.

Nope, there were no stickers of any sort when I opened it up. And how can that explain the problems?

So I tried the card on a friend's pc and it gave the same problem. Now I can send it in warranty to PowerColor meaning I'll have to send it back to my relatives in the US for it. The only question is that I re-applied the thermal paste on it about a month ago when it was going all the way upto 84C. That did help with the temps but did it void the warranty?

I tried it on the DVI and the VGA passthrough. VGA passthrough works just fine so maybe DVI. Still I am gonna try it on another system just to be sure.

I am using an ASRock z75 pro3 updated to the latest 2.0 bios version. the card is a PowerColor Devil r9 270x. I reverted to the 13.12 WHQL drivers.
