Because Red suffers from a slower cpu and severe quadfire inefficiency :P

:P you should see my numbers when It gets up to resolutions that...you know...actually matter.

I guess it is a quadfire inefficiency at a tiny resolution like this, but then thats not what you use for 1280 x 720, like using stick of dynamite to loosen the lid on a pickle jar. It also has to do with the program running. 3DMark11 P is run @ 1280 x 720 and my score is close to yours Nyt.Think there is enough wide screen/multiple screen folks on here to start a 'high res gaming & benchmark' thread Nyt?

I'm thinking my quadfire is working just fine... :whistling::thumbsup:

if its a bottle neck.. how come nyt seems to score just fine??? i scored 2.2k btw but at stock clocks.. ill up the clocks to 940 n see what it pulls on its own later.. bedtime for me now

@ Matt, It is most definitely a bottleneck at 1280 x 720, but it gets exponentially better as res goes up. and who plays at 1280x720? :P

I have benched CF @ 2x, 3x, and 4x GPU's at large resolutions and the scaling is exceptional. I do think that a lot of it has to do with the last few sets of drivers from AMD. They seem to be finally addressing CF using more than two cards because it has gotten much better as of late.

UPDATED

You guys are right, I probably should have done a higher resolution but with running a low resolution like this you can compare between pretty much any system be it netbook or gaming monster.

Why you would want to that I don't know, but that is how I have all of these benchmarks set up.

:P
