  2. Hello Capo, I recommend building vs buying a new pc. However nowadays patience is a virtue if you are going with current gen hardware, you need to shop around and do not limit your search to just USA, or local Micro Center for hardware. Make up a budget, and compile a list of hardware you want than decide what you truly need now, to stay in your budget. To save your budget try to use something you already own or have on the shelf even if it is only temporary till you find what you want new, upgrade down the road when you can. I just built an HTPC for web browsing & streaming video's and spent $800 on hardware, and that is without a graphics card, system memory, and primary/storage SSD's. I plan on adding in RTX 3070 Ti FE card when available which cost $600 at local Bust Buy, for now I'm running iGPU and everything is fine for web browsing and streaming video, that is where the patience comes into play, as you will need a graphics card up front for gaming and that is going to be like finding hens teeth currently. I can list some of the hardware I bought to give you an idea for cost,.. just bear in mind this HTPC was built to be compact/quiet using an ATX board I already had on the shelf, and generate vary little heat,.. while still being plenty fast. Chassis: Silverstone GDO9B. $98.65 US Cooler: Noctua NH-U9s Chromax Black, 3x120mm Chromax fans, 2x80mm Chromax fans. $381.85 US PSU: Seasonic SSR-600TL. $233.08 US CPU: Intel Pentium Gold G6605. $95.00 UK With Windows 10 Pro 64-Bit $157.67 US,.. your not getting much change back from a thousand dollars. Everything else I had on the shelf. You can find a much cheaper power supply, I wanted fanless and wanted to be able to upgrade iGPU down the road so I bought the crazy expensive 600W unit. The G6605 CPU for $95.00 was the cheapest item I bought, and it really surprised me with how fast it is only being 2-cores and using only 58W power.
  3. Went long with this one because I was just having fun. Been so busy between covering Computex and E3 and back-to-back reviews, decided to just enjoy playing Mad Max instead of focusing on any news, and ended up going for about 90 minutes. Will go live at the usual time tomorrow.
  4. Hi Everyone! Can anyone tell me which gaming chair does shroud uses? I want to buy the same. I am no issue of budget at all. Need your recommendation weather I should go for it or not?

  13. Store bought PC's will always be the most convenient for which you will pay a higher premium, DIY is more rewarding but there can be delays sourcing parts, building and "smoke testing" increasing linearly dependant on how much you have kept up with current trends in technology and system design.

A few things you can try to fix Firefox suddenly not remembering logins or passwords when feature is enabled in the privacy and security settings,.. first reinstall Adobe Flash, than check legacy extensions and confirm Firefox has indeed disabled DivX Web player, if not than disable it and test. If your still having issues than you will need to determine if any password add-ons/programs is what is causing issue,.. Start Firefox in Safe Mode to confirm issue is gone when in safe mode. If issue is gone in safe mode than you will need to return to normal mode, and open your Add-ons Manager, select Extensions. Disable a few add-ons, restart Firefox, test,.. If the issue continues, disable some more (restarting FF). Continue till issue is gone. After, you know what group is causing the issue, Re-enable the last group one at a time (restarting FF) until the issue returns. Once you have confirmed the problem add-on, disable that and re-enable all others, than restart again.

  19. Usually you have to set the extra router to AP (access point) mode. And that involves connecting the extra router, by itself to a PC or laptop and logging into it. You need to be isolated from your current network. Usually the login info is on a label on the bottom of the router. Navigate to the page that allows you to change from Router mode to AP mode. Reboot the extra router and now your main router will assign an IP address to the new AP when you connect it to your main network.

  23. Devolver Digital brought a number of games to its E3 event, as well as its unique sense of humor as it revealed Devolver MaxPass+. This is a free subscription service that will allow you to make premium purchases from the entire Devolver Digital catalog. Upcoming additions to that catalog were also showcased, starting with a new gameplay trailer for Shadow Warrior 3. Unfortunately the release date for the title has not been narrowed down any from the 2021 target, but at least we get to see more of the action it will offer. The whole Devolver MaxPass+ Showcase video will be embedded at the end and it includes each of the individual trailers, so you can decide how you wish to view them.     The next game shown off was Trek to Yomi and it will be arriving in 2021. In this a young swordsman must protect the people of his town to keep the vow he made to his dying master. It is coming from Leonard Menchiari and Flying Wild Hog to PC, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, and PlayStation 5 when it releases.     Following that, a new trailer for Phantom Abyss was shared along with the Steam Early Access release date of June 22. The game offers an asynchronous multiplayer racing experience where players try to go explore procedurally generated temples to find the relics they have hidden. Traps will need to be dodged, chasms leapt over, and guardians avoided to reach the relics, and once the legendary relic has been found, the temple will be sealed forever and for everyone. You will also never get to visit the same temple twice, whether you left in failure or with one of the lesser relics.     Wizard with a Gun. Honestly I am tempted to leave it at that with the trailer embedded below, but I need to keep testing out these mechanical switches. This is an online cooperative sandbox survival game where you will face dangerous creatures and arcane mysteries while trying to collect, craft, and outfit your wizard. Take care to design your weapons, bullets, and the furnishings of your home, but be careful as your magic may extend beyond your control and burn it all down. Wizard with a Gun is releasing in 2022 for PC and Nintendo Switch.     Death's Door had been announced previously, showing off its world where Crows are in charge of collecting the souls of the dead. While this work can get boring, the soul you were sent after has been stolen, making it necessary for you to track it and the thief down to a world without death. Now we know it will be releasing on July 20 for PC, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S. If that sounds like a fun time for you, Steam has a 15% discount on pre-purchases of both the standard and Deluxe Edition.     Revealed at the event was Inscryption, the next game from the creator of Pony Island and The Hex, a "mind melting, self-destructing love letter to video games." This is an inky black card-based odyssey that blends deckbuilding roguelike with escape-room style puzzles and psychological horror like some "blood-laced smoothie." Words I could only expect to see in a Devolver Digital press release. It will be releasing later this year.     The only other game announcements were for Devolver Tumble Time, a mobile game, and Demon Throttle, which is coming as a physical release, and only a physical release for Nintendo Switch, but as neither are coming to PC, I have just left the links to their trailers. Lastly, here is the Devolver MaxPass+ Showcase, containing all of the trailers as well as the usual weirdness of Devolver Digital marketing videos. That includes the special "NFT" of the showcase itself, a VHS copy with the tab violently torn out to prevent it from being recorded over. It is listed as sold out in the MaxPass+ premium store and priced at $1000, so either it was a joke or someone actually made that purchase, with the proceeds going to the Scratch Foundation. There are other premium items available as well, for those of you wanting to show off your Devolver MaxPass+ subscription to the world.     Source: Press Release and Devolver MaxPass+ Back to original news post
  24. Across our 10-game DXR test suite, the RX 6700 XT only gets close to the same performance as the RTX 3070 in the AMD-promoted Dirt 5 and Godfall. The overall lead ends up at just under 50% in favor of the RTX 3070 at both 1080p and 1440p, with a range of 6% (Godfall) to 121% (Minecraft).

Alright I got it back to the way it looked before. I just reset to defaults, right-clicked near the toolbar and did Customize Toolbar. Took a big of fiddling, but it is pretty close to how it looked before. It still looks a bit like Chrome, but at least it isn't a Internet Explorer looking clone now.

  27. I've not been following the Firefox situation, but has the ESR version been impacted by the undesirable changes yet? Another alternative might be Waterfox though, as it is kept up to date with security changes to Firefox, but has not adopted some of the questionable changes from Mozilla.
