  1. WooHoo!! Looks like I still got my pro trouble shooting skillz Glad to hear! Congrats on the WiFi! Have a great day!
  2. Ipod cant pick it up, K great this really helps. It is on the side of ATT. Either somewhere in their systems, they have the wireless locked on disable (a problem I had run into several times in the field) or the RG unfortunately shorted out right after it was installed. Either way its on ATT's end. So you are going to have to get ATT back out there to fix it, since it is so close to install date, they should be able to get a tech out fairly quickly. The tech should have left his business card, try giving him a call and ask if he can talk to his manager to let him go back and fix the issue real quick. ^ Would be the quickest way to possibly get the tech to go out there quicker -or- Call the 1800 number that is on the card to talk to tech support and tell them the wireless has not worked since the tech left. Good Luck! P.S. Keep me posted please
  3. Ok next step is this. Find another wireless device, either a laptop or a smartphone and try to pick up the wireless signal. If you can not find it on any wireless devices, then your RG is bad and need to call up ATT and ask them to replace it. A lot of the RG's in circulation for ATT uverse are refurbished and could be that it was never fixed properly. Best Regard,
  4. Hey Pteroduck I used to work for ATT as an install tech. Try doing this. Go to 192.168.1.1 in a web browser Enter the key displayed on the bottom back of your 2wire router to gain access to the settings portion What your going to need to do is change the wireless protection settings from whatever the settings are on (WPA/PSK/WEP/Others) to a different type of encryption. This sometimes solves a drop in connection or failing to connect on certain types of wireless adapters or on board wireless card. Now if the 2wire router is just not even giving a wireless signal(not showing up on your available wireless connections) then it is possible you have a bad RG (2wire Router). If that is the case call up ATT and tell them your RG is bad and not giving a wireless connection. They will send a tech out and do to it being an ATT equipment issue, you should not be billed for it. But if it is some settings you changed, they will bill you, so make sure to change settings and then do a complete reset before calling. P.S. Keep me updated please
