  1. Hey guys, i was thinking... I have an Asus P5E, Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600, Mushkin 2x2GB DDR2-1000 [email protected] and a MSI R7770 pmd1gd5... If i switch to an Asus P5Q Deluxe, will there be any difference? (I wont do a crossfire, so i wont need the full support @ x16 in CF mode that the P5E supports!) There is a difference in the Chipset as i know... I wont pay any money for that Mobo, since a friend is giving that away... but will it worth the effort? Overclocking abilities, performance, stability...Pros and Cons! Thats what i need to learn... i guess! And, a silly question too, will i be able to overclock higher, with lower Voltage? Or that depends on the CPU only? (( Example, in my P5E from 2.4Ghz to 3.0Ghz, i need 1.3v... and for a 3.6Ghz i need more than 1.5v ! )) Thanks in advance! (sorry for any mistakes!)
  2. Thats where i read it! Thanks for posting that! I have some friends that want to test it on their 6000 series, and i ll post back if they had any luck on that!
  3. The New Beta drivers can be found in the official AMD site! As for 4000/5000/6000 series i read that there is no difference... but who knows till you try it for yourself! i have a 5850, and i ll check it in a day or two!
  4. And here is the site for the AMD 12.11 Beta drivers I hope im not breaking any rules...
  5. Oh right! i just checked and it is removed, people say there are issues with the driver, and waiting for the fixed version...
  6. Guys, these drivers are pretty good! I tested them and i have some benchmarks run too and the difference from 12.8 to 12.11! This one is with 12.8 with no overclock on the card. 12.8 With Overclock. Now. This one is with 12.11 with No Overclock. 12.11 with Overclock! I was really surprised that with 12.11 and without overclock there is a 13 difference in score with the Overclocked 12.8! I tested it with games too, like Skyrim, MW3 and Assassin's Creed 2 brotherhood... everything worked fine with no issues... P.S. Ignore the freaky frame rates from feature tests... i have this issue a week or more now... Edit: It happened once, drivers were not recognized till i restarted my computer, and the clocks were "locked" at 300Mhz on Gpu and 150 on Memory. Even when i run a game... But it happened only once!
  7. Oh, i forgot to write back! Well, i sent the card back and they sent me a new one! I guess i was lucky! I managed to overclock the card at stock voltage 1.2v @ 1079 GPU and 1273 on Memory! But Afterburner does not support overvoltage for this card... or the opposite! Even though the card support it... =/ Thanks for your answers again! I wont mess up with the bios of this card again...
  8. Yeah, i ll answer them back, hopefully to give me the bios!... I can't use RBE or AtiWinflash with 7770 bios, even if it is from different manufacturers! I just downloaded some to test it... if i could everything will be better right now!... i think... :S And Thanks for the answers! I appreciated!
  9. heh yeah, i send a ticket to them, they said they need the S/N... im not sure if it is for a good reason! I want to keep my warranty Should i give them the S/N to them?
  10. I managed to boot my computer with 2 graphics card... and i opened Gpu-Z ... thats a creepy info! The bios are sure Corrupted!
  11. No, but i tried to flash with that one too, with no luck of course... =/
  12. When i try to save or program the card with ATIWinflash in OS (i didnt know that AtiWinFlash can run is dos mode, only with Atiflash) i get a No responding error... maybe thats because the program does not support 7000 series... In Dos with atiflash, i tried, with these extra commands, -fs -fp ... to bypass ssid and p/n ... but i still get the "Rom Not Erased" error... And i had the latest drivers, im 120% sure about that!
  13. I forgot to write, I can't open and edit or just view any of 7770 bios with RBE, and i cant flash from windows with AtiWinFlash! Are there any other programs that support the new bios? My motherboard support 2 pcie cards and i tried to flash from windows but with no luck! Thanks again!
  14. Hello guys, it's been some time since i got the R7770 card, and i was about to overclock the card a bit! I installed MSI afterburner, the latest one, but i couldnt tweak the voltages, i also edit the .cfg file for Unofficial overclocking... And then, i tried to find a way to unlock somehow the voltages... So i chose to flash the card! I used Atiflash, i save a backup of my original bios... and i switched the bios! But the bios were not compatible with this card (even though it was an msi r7770 and the correct one). So i simply tried to flash with my original bios! But i got this error! "Rom Not Erased" ... And now the card is "dead", it wont boot and if it does, i cant see a think! I tried other bioses too, but with no luck (from other manufactures). I also believe that my bios are corrupted, since i get an S/N of 113-xxx-Xxx... and all the other bioses have numbers... Now im stuck and if someone have the original bios of this card, or another solution, i ll be glad! Thanks in advance! This is my R7770 Edit: (sorry my introduction is so simple, and sorry for any grammar mistakes!)
  15. Yeah, i tried to sell my 6770 when the price was still at 100+ , with 3 years warranty etc... for 60! But no one was interested! So i just give up selling it! 6870 is a monster compare to 6770... Oh, and what do you think of 7770?? Things here are way to easy, i can just "kill" my 6770 and they will replace it for a different card, (i do this for a couple of years ), the only card i see is 7770 to get for free...
