  1. Yeah I been really wondering a lot abuot the new Core i7s, and the new i5 since they run in a different socket. Plus I have read that the new hexacore Core i9 is supposed to be coming out next year and will be of 1366 socket, similar to the 920 i7. So i don't know, plus i probably won't be building a computer for myself till sometime next year, maybe over the summer. So yeah, I'm just gonna wait and see what's best, even if the i9 is released next year, i bet it will be expensive, but it would be nice to buy a motherboard that has i7 and also has compatibility for the new i9.
  2. I REALLY seriously need a descent wireless PCI interface wireless adapter, preferable Linksys, but I need one that supports 64-bit OS. The current one I have WMP54G, only supports 32 bit OS, so I seriously need this. Please only link back to sites from NewEgg! Thank you!
  3. Thought so, I wanted to make sure. Thanks for confirming this.
  4. Yet another question about the XFX 9600 GT. lol. So I was currently checking my core, shader, and memory clock. All my settings are at default but the memory clock is set to 900 Mhz (using EVGA Precision) but when I checked its default settings on xfxforce.com (PV-T96G-YHF4 if you want to check the settings yourself) it says on the site that the memory clock is 1800 MHz. So should I try turning it up? Also, I use the 6 pin to dual 4 pin molex, but I only have one 4 pin power thing plugged in, could that be the problem?
  5. This OS is going to be amazing, I tested both Beta version and the RC version. And I pre-ordered my copy of Home Premium the instant it came out :D it was almost midnight.
  6. Yeah plus in custom built PCs, you get better looking cases, more options, and faster speeds since it's not being slowed down by the crapware that manufacturers like Dell install on your PC.
  7. Your right, a virus cannot affect the monitor directly. So one thing I thought up of, the motherboard could be faulty. If you have any other left other RAM sticks, put them all there and see if it detects all of it.So when you disable the onboard graphics, does it now detect your Nvidia drivers and stuff? Im thinking that's the same problem with the monitor. But yeah, if the driver detects the Nvidia Control Panel and stuff, go in there, and look up the settings of your monitor. Also, what resolution are you displaying?
  8. 1st problem: Make sure the motherboard support 8 GBs of DDR2 RAM, also go into the bios and see what you can figure out in there. 2nd problem: Try and go into device manager and disable the built-in graphics and see if that works, if it doesn't, simply start in safe mode to enable the built-in graphics again, but I'm sure it will work. 3rd problem: What kind of cable are you using to plug in the Samsung? as you mentioned before, its hooked up to the video card, so chances are its some error due to the integrated video, or because it won't use the Nvidia Drivers. EDIT: If your monitor has an auto feature, run it. That's all I can come up with for now, so try it and tell me how it goes, if it doesn't work, give me more information about your specs.
  9. great, now i don't know what brand to buy. Guess I'll stick to this Segate 500 GBs
  10. Thanks, I'm also looking for a new HD, that's why I was wondering.
  11. Oh...well what brand of Hard Drives would you recommend?
  12. yeah but which ones do I get more performance out of? buying 4 sticks 1 GB each, or the 2 of 2 Gbs each?
  13. What about these? Are these any good? and which one is better? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820134217 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx...N82E16820134065
  14. OHHH OK!! Thank you so much man! Sorry but I just don't know much about RAM memory, I need to read up more on this stuff lol. Thanks again dude! That's why I could never figure it out on New Egg hahaha Thanks!...again! For like the third time! So what do you think will be better people? out of this entire list http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList....58&name=1GB
