  1. Hi Crazy_nate !!! I'll read it. Thx a lot !!!
  2. Yes !!!, 50 hours of Prime95 without errors !!! I set the DRAM voltage in 2.7 and now run stable. Thx a lot to all the people that help me. Now i'll try to overclock my rig. Any comment about guides will be appreciatted.
  3. Hi, i ran memtest test #5 and #8 ten times and all the tests for three hours, and i haven't errors.
  4. Well, error again !!! now ran for ten hours. Voltage = 2.6V Ram Temperature ok, i added a fan too. I can't decrease to 2.4 there is no option in my setup (or i don't know to set it) Any idea ?
  5. Hi dr_bowtie, both stick have a cooper heatsink, i'll try with a fan and change voltage. checking the ram's temperature. I ran memtest test #5 and #8 ten times and all the test for 3 hours and don't have any error. Hi kingdingling , thx to both for the quicky answer !!! Question: my rig will run more stable or i'll have best results if i change my actually 2x512 sticks Corsair value select for one Corsair XMS (black heatsink) 1gb ?
  6. Any idea ? 9hrs test is correct to begin with next step overclocking my rig or i need change other setting , which ?
  7. Hi, i set the default values (Corsair VS512MB400 = 2.5-3-3-8 and 2.5v)
  8. Hi all !!! I build my rig using the guide in my signature (How to successfully build a computer) and some user's recommendations. I've got my rig running at stock now. I ran prime95 v25.7 and after 9 hours it was cancelled by error in calc. I read the stress.txt file but i'dont know how to continue. Thx in advance.
  9. Hi all !!!. I've got twice Corsair Value Select VS512MB400 in my rig and i've got the pocssibility to buy (good price !!!) one module of Corsair XMS TWINX2048-3200C2PT 1gb (black heatsink). The questions are: - Is this module compatible with my DFI ? - Can i put the XMS module and twice Value Select in the same mother ? If isn't possible, which is the memory recommended ? Thx in advance.
  10. In this case, the problem was my memories incompatibility and that i'm a newbie in OC the solution was : -Extract all the unnecesary hardware -Properly 15 minutes clear cmos. -extract all the memory sticks. -put only one stick in the yellow slot (near the mobo's edge) , try in the others sticks first, beginning in the orange stick near the cpu. -when the rig POST, set the memories values for your memory and reboot, if post again, reinstall one at time , all your components , don't forget power off the PSU and/or disconnect the power connector. PS: if you have a good links about OC here, this will be appreciatted a lot
  11. Yes, my rig is running again !!! I've got XP installed. Now, the second step .... OC I go to read some OC guide, i suppose that there goods here !!! Thanx Nate, hardnrg for your time and your help !!!! Thx overclockersclub forum too.
  12. Well, don't work with new settings. With the stick in the DIMM1 (orange) = 3 diag leds ON and beep intermitent With the stick in the DIMM4 (yellow) begin 4 leds on, 4th led blink twice and then off, 2 seconds after, 3rd led is off, after 2 seconds, 3rd led ON and 4th led blink twice, and repeating ... PS: in the corsair value select especifications figure : 2.5 - 3 - 3 - 8 , i need to clear cmos for 15 min ok ?
  13. In my setup CPC option are : Disabled - enabled - Auto, i'll enter Disabled and i'll change the values for CPU VID / CPU VID Startup to 1.35. The new settings : First ok boot / new set FSB bus freq = 200 LDT/FSB = Auto LDT bus Transfer width = 16 16 CPU/FSB freq ratio = Auto PCI express freq = 100mhz K8 Cool 'n' quiet support = Disable CPU vid stratup vlot control = startup / 1.35 CPU vid control = auto / 1.35 CPU vid special control = auto LDT Voltage control = 1.20 Chipset voltage control = 1.50 Dram voltage control = 2.60 / 2.7 Dram +.03 voltage control = Disable Dram freq set = 200 Command per clock (CPC) = disable CAS latency control (tCL = 2.5 / 3 RAS # to CAS# delay (tRCD) = 3 / 4 Min RAS active timing (tRAS) = 8 / 8 Row percharge timing(tRP) = 3 / 4 Row Cycle Time (tRC) = 7 Row refresh cycle time (tRFC) = auto Row to row delay (tRRD) = 02 Write recovery time (tWR) = 02 Write to read delay (tWTR) = 02 Read to Write delay (tRTW) = 03 Refresh period (tREF) = 3120 Write CAS# latency (tWCL) = auto DRAM bank interleave = enabled DQS skew control = auto DQS skew value = 0 DRAM drive Strength = auto DRAM data drive strength = auto Max async latency = auto **DRAM response time = normal Read preamble time = auto Idle cycle limit = 256 Dynamic counter = disable R/W queue bypass = 16x Bypass max = 07x 32 byte granulation = Diable (4)
  14. What is CR=2T ? First ok boot / new set FSB bus freq = 200 LDT/FSB = Auto LDT bus Transfer width = 16 16 CPU/FSB freq ratio = Auto PCI express freq = 100mhz K8 Cool 'n' quiet support = Disable CPU vid stratup vlot control = startup CPU vid control = auto CPU vid special control = auto LDT Voltage control = 1.20 Chipset voltage control = 1.50 Dram voltage control = 2.60 / 2.7 Dram +.03 voltage control = Disable Dram freq set = 200 Command per clock (CPC) = disable CAS latency control (tCL = 2.5 / 3 RAS # to CAS# delay (tRCD) = 3 / 4 Min RAS active timing (tRAS) = 8 / 8 Row percharge timing(tRP) = 3 / 4 Row Cycle Time (tRC) = 7 Row refresh cycle time (tRFC) = auto Row to row delay (tRRD) = 02 Write recovery time (tWR) = 02 Write to read delay (tWTR) = 02 Read to Write delay (tRTW) = 03 Refresh period (tREF) = 3120 Write CAS# latency (tWCL) = auto DRAM bank interleave = enabled DQS skew control = auto DQS skew value = 0 DRAM drive Strength = auto DRAM data drive strength = auto Max async latency = auto **DRAM response time = normal Read preamble time = auto Idle cycle limit = 256 Dynamic counter = disable R/W queue bypass = 16x Bypass max = 07x 32 byte granulation = Diable (4)
  15. YES !!!! GOD is here !!!! I put one stick of Corsair VS512MB400 on the first yellow slot (DIMM1) and my rig is in the Setup now !!! I will set the Ram's parameters and try to boot normally. Is needed to set another parameter before save the setup and restart ? Post the results later ....
