  1. Pretty much done for now. I have the proprietary cable on the way to hookup my laptop and finalize some tuning. I'll probably paint the grille black this weekend and install my blue bowtie. Otherwise that's all for now. Next month's project will be a bed floor. I'll probably use some Trex deck boards. My winter project will be to upgrade the worn out oem springs, Caltracs, limited slip, some sound deadening and carpet.
  2. No doors yet but not going to let that stop me from making the first test drive.
  3. Taking longer than I planned but it's getting real close to being streetable Engine and transmission in place Installing new wiring harness and my temporary gauge cluster AC deleted and made a cover for it. I'll be making a cover for the heater hole as well. Eventually I'll do a Vintage Air or similar product. Front clip reinstalled Working on the engine wiring Radiator installed and core support rattle canned I'm installing some leather seats out of a 2014 F150 so I needed to make a bracket low enough to accommodate them Headlights installed and getting ready to reinstall the bed. I had to remove one of the bed cross supports since it interfered with the gas filler on top of the tank. Had this sticker made Didn't take pictures of everything but I've also got most of the exhaust done. Welded 3" V bands to the headers into a 3" X pipe with V bands followed by 3" Dynomax Bullets which is reduced to 2.5" Ebay/Chinese copy Super 10s. I'll have an exhaust shop finish the rest to go over the axle and side exit behind the tires. I also got the clutch and brakes bled and most of the wiring done. Right now I still need to finish the neutral safety switch and reverse light wiring on the transmission, the wiring for the rear running lights, brake lights, blinkers and license plate light, install the bumpers and grille, bolt in the seats, and reinstall the transmission tunnel after cutting a hole for the shifter. Finally I'll get the alignment close and take it to have it properly aligned. Then I can start driving it and let the ECU start self learning a base tune. This was the first time starting it up
  4. Progress has been slow but steady. Here was the frame after removing the fuel tanks, fuel/brake lines and the rear crossmember and spare tire mount. Primered and painted the frame Relocated the rear crossmember further back on the frame and flipped and relocated the spare tire mount to be used for the 25 Gallon Blazer tank swap. Used old mud flaps to cushion against the tank and welded an extension on the crossmember to give a bit more surface area to hold the tank more securely. Rebuilt the front end, mounted the new tires and wheels, installed the fuel pump and sending unit, ran new brake and fuel hard lines. Reinstalled the cab with new poly bushings. Currently working on finishing up the engine and transmission getting them ready to install.
  5. Since the last update I've pulled the 350/th350 Removed the bed and repaired the cracked frame And today I removed the front suspension and the cab Next will be to remove the gas tanks, old fuel and brake lines, ebrake cable and anything else to prep the frame for either wire wheeling or possibly sand blasting if I can get my hands on one. Then primer and paint and the rebuild process can begin which will be a new 25 gallon Blazer tank swap, new fuel/brake lines, new cab/control arm/sway bar/core support poly bushings, new shocks, ball joints, tie rods, pitman and idler arms. Much more but I'll post those updates when I get them done.
  6. Getting ready to pull the motor and trans
  7. My current project. Getting it back on the road after about 10 years of sitting. It's getting a crate 460hp/425tq 5.3 LS and a Tremec TKX 5 speed. Currently waiting on the bellhousing and still need to buy a few things like a starter, alternator, water pump, etc but most everything else is on hand and ready to go. 1974 C10 - This is an old pic. Probably around 2009. Pic taken a few years ago after power washing to get rid of years of dirt buildup. Found someone selling a stepside bed and I've always wanted one so decided to buy it and sell my fleetside bed. Also picked up the stepside bumper to go with it. Old bed removed New bed installed 5.3 LS and the Tremec TKX That's all the progress for now. Waiting on the bellhousing before getting started on the swap. Also will be needing to weld up the frame. These trucks are notorious for cracked frames near the steering box and mine is no exception.
  8. I've personally kind of lost interest in the hobby. Haven't bothered with overclocking anything in years. I used to love tinkering and modding but these days I just care that it boots up. Knock on wood that my 1080ti doesn't die on me anytime soon as replacing it right now would suck. In general I think forums just aren't as popular anymore. Seems like Facebook groups and Reddit have pretty much taken over the role that forums provided.
  9. Selling due to upgrade. Neither have been overclocked. Payments accepted are Paypal or USPS Money Order. CPU - $150 shipped RAM - $100 shipped I've also got an i7 920 and a Q6600 in a parts bin if anyone is interested in those.
  10. I'm not sure. It was on there when I bought it and it has no markings.
  11. I've wanted one of these for awhile but I just can't bring myself to spend the coin. A lot of money when I've already got real trucks I can take offroad lol.
  12. Not the best pic but I just picked this up. 1996 4runner. 5 speed with the elocker.
  13. Here's a small sample of what I have. I guess you could say I like guns.
  14. Price lowered for buying both cards.
