  1. Hello, As far as I can tell smart-speed only lets you control the cpu fan and fan2. Is there anyway to control fans 3 4 and 5 via software? Thanks
  2. I am running an Ultra-D. My OS drive is in sata1 with nothing else conected. What next? :S EDIT: & it booted iam in windows
  3. When I rebuilt the master boot this is my boot.ini !?! [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /noexecute=optin C: = "Unidentified operating system on drive C." The last line is strange. I haven’t got linux or any other OS on my system. Could I just try to delete that line? I believe ''/noexecute=optin'' is something to do with newer cpus or something and is normal. EDIT: My C drive is a partition on my OS drive were the my working windows is installed.
  4. I can't figure this out. I have got 3 drives in raid 0 (NVIDIA controller) and another drive with windows on. I had the raid drives in sata 1, 2 &3 and the OS drive in sata 4. I cleaned up all my wires and cables in my case (so disconnected all 4 sata cables) and plugged them back in without thinking about the raid. It ended up as the OS drive being in sata 3 and the raid in 1, 2 & 4. I booted up and the raid message that normally comes up didn't, so I looked in windows and the raid is gone, then I released what I did. I thought no problem I'll just put it back to how it was and the raid should re-appear. But windows wouldn’t even load; it just stays at the verifying dmi pool data message. The only way I can get into windows is by disconnecting the 3 raid drives or disabling raid in bios. Any ideas? Is the raid setup so that disk 1 is connected at sata 1, disk 2 to sata 2, disk 3 to sata 3 and I have them backwards or something and it wont have it any other way. Thanks in advance.
  5. What do you think about this? I could just bend away or brake of fins in the middle to make room for the graphics card.
  6. Hi, welcome, look here for stuff like memory settings and other stuff. It helped me out alot.
  7. lowboy it won't boot into windows!. Its stays a black screan with these white characters everywere (like DOS). And I did reset cmos (see 1st post) I'll have to get a gfx card from somewere...
  8. Yes everything is as normal untill the ''verifying dmi pool data...'' appears. but what comes up are actual characters and letters, they come up really fast but you can kind of make each one out. I would take a pic but i dont have a cam here.
  9. voltages are normal/good. 5.02 12.01 3.33 // vcore on auto, chipset 1.5, vdimm 2.7 This sucks as I don't have any spare parts here to swap around and find the problem.
  10. I tried the game warsow (like a quake DM type game/mod) and after about 5 minutes i quit, it froze windows, only mouse would move ctrl+alt+del did nothing, etc so i manually restarted but after the ''verifying dmi pool data'' part the screen fills with random characters which scroll down (Matrix style). Anyone know whats wrong? Virus? I have tried resetting cmos and put everything to stock clocks but problem still there. if its hardware i suspect graphics card or ram. Anything like this ever happend to anyone else?? need help. thanks
  11. When u first enter the party they give u 1 sticker for ur case/tower, 1 for ur monitor, 1 for a console,etc.. but the thing is that all the stickers look alike. So someone could come in with like a playstation1 then swap thier sticker for your 2000€ pc and walk out the front door with it I know the system is crazy but thats the way it is...the stickers have a bar code on but they never scan it lol And yeah the locks on the case are not very beafy.
  12. Has anyone ever hooked it up to any mobo? I was jsut curious to see how it worked. I'll use the lock on side. lol I have a good mind to set up a webcam to monitor my comp when I am asleep! Its a 1 week party and there have been thefts every year. I should have said in the post that they are in raid, anyway they dont apear in the ''should display board sensor'' drop down list so it must be that. to the touch they feel about the same as the one I can monitor so I'll just go off that one. Thanks
