  1. First, i advise you: 1) post your full configuration 2) clear cmos for a few minutes...reboot, load optimized default...
  2. you have a very good pair of tccd try to modify this: Row cycle time (TRC)= 7(9) Row refresh cycle time (TRFC)= 14(15) Read preamble time= 5ns Idlecycle limit= 16 Dynamic counter= Enable
  3. good method!!!...but it work only at idle mode!!!... As soon as the pc is load the vdimm go down (in range 0,1-0,2v ...and the system is unstable.... the jp17 jumper give a great stability on vdimm (0,00v difference in idle and load!!! )... I put a 92x92 fan on jp17 area (about 30-40cmf)...and go fast, cold and very stable with 3,5v on my utt/bh5
  4. yes...!!! dfi MUST give a reason about your problem!!
  5. I'm very sorry for your dead mb .. For the next mb use a great psu (for ex. tagan nforce-u22 series)...and use all precautions posted in this forum ... good luck
  6. ok friend!... measure your rails with digital multimeter....and we wait your answer tomorrow... bye
  7. your psu is not too good... your rails are too low!!!...3,22v on 3,3...4,88v on 5v... have you connect the 24pin + 4pin power?... I advise you to use a good psu (tagan nforce u22 series are very good)... I think psu is a probable cause of smoke!!!...
  8. mhh...ok!...so you use the jumper jp17 on your mb.... ...wath are your temperature with prime 95? (cpu, pwic, chipset)...and the other voltages ?(ldt, chipset,12v, 5v, 3,3v, ...) I use 2 nf4 ultra-d: one with tccd (2,7v) and the other with utt/bh5 (3,5v)....with utt/bh5 I use the jp17...so i put extra cooling (92mm fan) on power area near the jp17.... both mb works fine
  9. you set vdimm at 3,3v with your tccd?...or you use the 3,3v rail for your ram?
  10. you must use realtek driver (and no nvidia audio drivers) http://w3serv.realtek.com.tw/downloads/dla...8&Software=True
  11. i can only advise you to use stock bios (602) for optimal performance/stability nf3 ultra-d is a great mobo (i think the best 939 agp)....but there isn't a great bios
  12. there isn't dual channel mode on every socket 754 board.... because cpu A64 socket 754 don't support it
  13. yes...you can connect up to 5 fans with 3 pin...you can control and monitor the fan speed of connectors 1,2,3...the connectors 4 and 5 are not motitor and/or control... look here for ultra informations:
  14. Answers: - yes...there are 5 fan connectors...3 of these can control the fan speed - both - yes - yes PS the contol options are in the bios...but you can control your fan speed in windowz with software (smart guardian is in the mobo cd)
