I have a p4 2.53 chip that isnt overclocked. i had 800 rdram and could not get it to overclock to save my life. i figured it was because of the old memory so i bought 512 (256x2) of 1066 rdram (samsung) and tried it again. changed the memory in BIOS from x3 to x4 and left the FSB at 133/33 and rebooted. it wouldnt get past POST. I flashed the BIOS from 1007c.bin to the newest 1010c.bin and still no luck on the normal settings. (it does work on FSB set to 133/27 and x4 on memory). i tried 1003.bin bios just to see if the old BIOS might help..nada...so i just flashed back to 1007c.bin that i started with and pulled the 56k modem and a 4 port usb pci card out of the pci slots so that the only thing there is the geforce 4 ti4400 in the AGP slot. i have a true power (antec) 480 watt power supply so i dont think its a power issue but it just won't work with any setting above 133/27. any ideas please. i would like to overclock to 150/33 if i can figure this out.
