  1. Ouch! Sounds like someone's been reading bad gumshoe novels.
  2. snowpro -- Here's an updated sig for you. Let me know if you want something different.
  3. It is most likely a problem with the case wiring. Either the leads are labelled wrong, something is busted, or the case jack is not wired the same way the FrontX jacks are wired. When you have it hooked up do you get sound out of the headphones? I'd either test the case leads with a multimeter to try to figure out how it's wired or I'd try plugging the leads in in different combinations to see if I could get it to work.
  4. Sharptooth+ -- Here you go. Let me know if you want anything changed.
  5. Here are some instructions for installing the nvidia sound drivers..... but personally...... I'd just stick with the open source stuff that Ubuntu installs.
  6. Okay..... sorry I took so long. My real life got busy all of a sudden. And then last night when I finally went to make the sigs.... the "vulture" font wasn't on my computer anymore. --sigh-- So anyway...... tasr -- Gothic Case -- If either of you want me to change anything just send me a PM. thanks k0n
  7. Here's an old screenshot with my mobile and Buffalo CH-5. When I had it set up with my mobile and PQI TCCD I could get it up to about 235-237 FSB. Right now I just have it running stock with my locked 2500.
  8. Looks good to me. It'll be tough to make a "Clay" style sig for you..... because your name is much longer. The v5-L isn't a problem... it'll just be laid out a bit differently than Clay's. PM me if you want something different of if you have any special requests. BTW -- I think you're the only the 4th (maybe 5th) person to get a toaster with a LPA. Good Job!
  9. That shouldn't be a problem. I'll try to get it put together in the next few days. Some of the pics in your OCDB are too big. Please resize them. thanks k0n
  10. Yes.... they are very similar. But prime95 is the one to use for the screen shots.
  11. I can still make you one...... but a while ago Angry decided that to get a toaster you need to make a OCDB entry.
  12. I'd probably suggest changing your mem timings to 2.5-3-3-11. These boards are known for not liking CAS 3. It might help or it might not..... but I'd at least give it a try. Also.... have you tried booting into linux with the 'noapic' and 'nolapic' boot parameters? Maybe you could try booting from KNOPPIX or some other live linux CD to see if it makes any difference.
  13. Have you tried a different SATA cable? How long has your computer been up and running? Has it always had this problem or is it something new? Are you running Windows? (with a name like Debian I have to ask) What are your memory timings and voltage? Are you overclocking? Have you run memtest86 or Prime 95 torture test?
  14. Have you tried running single channel? It's obviously not as cool as dual channel.... but I'd probably at least give it a shot.
