I think you answered your own question there?

#2160633 Is this UPS adequate for my system?

I have no experience of the PowerWalker UPS so I can't vouch for it's quality.

if it does everything stated in the specification then it will be more than enough for your needs.

If your overclock is stable at 4.5GHz (stress tested etc) and you aren't experiencing any problems then a "proper" power supply may not improve things?

You are probably borderline on the power supply with SLI & overclock.

Disconnect everything from the power supply.

Short the green wire to any black wire on the 24 pin connector and the power supply should switch on?

If it doesn't connect a small load to the power supply, a couple of hard disk drives will do and try again.

What happens?

If you're going to buy a product, I don't care what you say, most people need it to look good. Take Apple for example, their products are very well built and look the part although not necessarily the best performers.

Ignore SMART and see what results you get from the hard drive manufacturers diagnostic tools.

Still not convinced with the CX range. TX or above for me!

The Silverstone Strider 400W for instance comes with two 6 Pin PCI-E connectors which shows a little more confidence in their power supplies ability long term?
