    Crysis

crysis 2 looks miles beter then crysis, your point is invalid. what I was say is there was alot more they could have done with it that they didn't or couldn't because of it being developed for multiple platforms. The original Crysis did things that most PC's at the time couldn't handle and alot still don't run it to it's top potential Crysis 2 on the other hand was dumbed down so that an of the shelf at your local best buy computer could run it at max settings making a game look prettier doesnt make it better than the original, kinda like friday the 13th was a far better movie than Jason X

    Crysis

Crysis set the bar in PC gaming then they decided to jump on the console band wagon with crysis 2 and it's impossible to do what they did with the first one on consoles (without completely frying them) so we PC gamers get thrown a disappointing product.
  3. I'm curious as to what 3D monitor doesn't have high resolution. As for your GPU I feel that really comes down to personal preference theses days, the Radeon cards tend to be cheaper than the nvidia cards. In my own opinion and personal experience cheaper all too often equals lower quality. In the past ATI drivers have had a bad record with buggy drivers, however since AMD acquired them I've heard that has changed. Personally I still prefer Nvidia over the AMD Radeon cards. The performance differences aren't too far apart and the Radeon make for an attractive lower cost alternative. That said I would recommend putting the video card upgrade on hold until you've got that 920 overclocked. It overclocks quite well i've had mine up to 4.4ghz stable on water cooling and run it at 4.2ghz 24/7 overclock. It would probably be better to spend some money on a more efficient cooling solution now and have it for future builds than to continue dreaming of it.

  5. I may make some upgrades to my case in the future but it will never be completely replaced Mountain mods Ascension is awesome like that
  6. last upgrade was in November when i up'd my memory from 6GB triple channel to 12 GB triple channel swapped out the 3 old WD 400 GB HDD's for 4- 256 GB crucial SSD's, video cards from a gtx 560 ti and an old gtx 260 for physics to 2 ASUS GTX680's new fans for my rads and a logysis 6 channel fan controller oh yeah and a blu ray burner (had to retire my trusty old IDE optical drives due to failure )
  7. So I was just looking in the log file of FAHCC and saw these lines together and had a bit of a laugh so I thought i should share it 00:32:47:WU01:FS01:0x15:Working on God Rules Over Mankind, Animals, Cosmos and Such 00:32:47:WU01:FS01:0x15:Client config unavailable. 00:32:48:WU00:FS00:0x15:Working on Giving Russians Opium May Alter Current Situation 00:32:48:WU00:FS00:0x15:Client config unavailable.
  8. it's looking absolutely amazing cant wait to see it finished
  9. Even though this may have been said somewhere in the last 21 pages of this thread, most of the time the person(s) doing the shooting DID NOT acquire the weapons thru legal means. Sso making the laws stricter for law abiding citizens will still have no effect on the criminals essentially taking guns out of legal hands so that the only people who have them are the criminals. And that just makes a world of sense now doesn't it. So your home can be invaded by some criminal who purchased a firearm from the trunk of some car, but you won'y be able go out and legally purchase one from a store so that you can be prepared for such an event.
  10. I might just try it even though I never was a fan of firefox
  11. It just feels good knowing that I'm doing something to help
  12. LOL i saw this post and I had to get folding again myself so I went and downloaded the new software (haven't folded in a couple years) and dont remember it being so easy to get folding on both gpu's and the cpu. So kudo's to stanford for making a huge update to their software. On another note i should probably set my rig outside where its only 18
  13. now ya gotta do some benchmarks on it and see how much of a success it really is
