  1. Ah sorry, yeh all 4 200s are available and so is the CPU. Deleting some old PMs now hehe.
  2. Hey guys, havnt been on here for a long time! Been so busy with uni hehe. Anyways, I've got a few things for sale now, reason for selling is that I was given a new computer from my parents, so may as well get rid of this stuff now. Got this stuff new a while ago, all work perfectly and have full retail boxes. I live in Australia, but I will post prices in US dollars since most of you are from the US. Heres whats for sale: Sparkle 7800GTX 256mb PCI-E - $170 Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music - $60 SOLD Corsair 2Gb (2 x 1gb) DDR TWINX2048-3200C2PRO - $160 AMD Athlon 64 X2 4200+ Manchester 2.2GHz Socket 939 Dual Core Processor - $140 SOLD Also have a few hard drives which I no longer need/use: Seagate 200gb SATA 8mb cache (not NCQ) - $40 each (Have 4 of these) SOLD Seagate 300gb SATA 8mb cache (NCQ) - $60 each (Have 2 of these) SOLD All prices are negotiable and include shipping (note: The shipping prices are assumed that you live in the US, if you are closer PM me and I can get you a better price). Also I prefer paypal. Feel free to tell me if the prices sound too high, as I havnt really researched what they go for much, I just want to get rid of this stuff as its sitting here doing nothing. Any questions just ask
  3. Mine looks like this: [boot loader] timeout=30 default=signature(941f941f)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] signature(941f941f)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn I assume I should change it to: [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect /NoExecute=OptIn I just deleted the second last line and changed default= which makes it look like yours.... just double checking before I actually do it
  4. Topic says it all, is there anyway to disable to OS boot select screen on startup? I only have one OS installed but for whatever reason it thinks theres 2 and on startup it has the menu which tells me to select one. This slows boot time and its very annoying, does anyone know how to get rid of it? I got rid of it once before on an older PC through its BIOS, Ive messed with my BIOS settings but cant seem to find which option it was. Thanks for any help
  5. Yay, thats what I wanted to hear, thanks DECwakeboarder!
  6. I have an antec 380watt truepower and its lasted for a good while now, but I think Im putting too bigger load on it. As it is im running 4 hard drives, 2 dvd/cd drives, heaps of fans and lights. However as it is, it is struggling and I want to add more hard drives which will make it even worse. I think the connector on my mobo is 20 pin plus the 4 pin aux connector. However when I look at some PSUs for sale, they only have a single 24 pin plug? Im assuming this will NOT be compatible with my mobo. I want to buy a new power supply that fits my pc and still allows for future upgradability, so what type of power supply should I buy? If I buy a 20 pin + 4 pin PSU, will it still work with the newer motherboards that accept a single 24 pin connector? I dont want to be having to use adapters. Thanks for any help as Im a pretty confused, and if Im going to spend money now, I may as well make it last a while! EDIT: I think I found what I might be looking for. This following psu states that it has a 24 pin connector with DETATCHABLE 4 pin connector for universal motherboard compatability. http://www.antec.com/us/productDetails.php?ProdID=22550 What do you guys think?
  7. will do edit: strangely enough, it hasnt done it since my last post. Sounds good, but the problem is, if it does it again at the wrong time, I'm screwed
  8. Recently, when I am just browsing internet sites/using IM programs, one of my 200gb hard drives is randomly dissappearing from both my computer and disk managment. Its almost as though someone has come and pulled the sata plug out of it in the middle everything. I am thinking its a power issue? I am running a 380 watt antec true power, 4 hard drives (3 x 200gb and 1 x 120gb), 2 x cd/dvd burners, a fair few case fans and some lights. Its strange though because I havnt actually done any modifications to my comp, which has me puzzled. Maybe the hard drive is crapping out on me... dang western digital, its the second time! Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening?
  9. Too long ago to remember why I joined, but I think its cause I needed advise on what video card to buy. Shortly after I was the proud owner of a radeon 9000 pro
  10. lol? Some onboard sound actually is very good quality. Others, ie, AC97, are not so good quality.
  11. They only made it to promote their guild. Funny none the less
  12. Kick him in his big red balls, STE
  13. Meh at one stage I was nearing my theoretical max downloads for one month Nice work though! +respect
  14. Why did you try make a raid partition when theres still data on the drives?? Im sure you can recover most of the data, but Im not sure if making a new raided partition effects it at all. One program I used to recover data from a drive with a corrupted file system is GetDataBack for NTFS. Good luck
  15. Didnt think so Havnt heard about it in ages and so many members thought long and hard about a new name, and submitted it in the hope of winning something (from memory) Whatever happened to it?
