Thanks for the replies. I may go with the ASUS Maximus IX Apex then, since it does have removable covers over the LEDs to make some custom ones. Too bad for only the 2 slots for RAM though. I wish there was an Apex with 4 slots.

Can anyone tell me if you can pop out the "Republic of Gamers" cover on this motherboard? Shown here: http://www.overclockersclub.com/siteimages/articles/asus_rog_maximus_ix_formula/21.jpg I'd like to create my own custom cover to replace this. Thanks.
