Here's the original post. http://dfi-street.com/forum/showthread.php?t=13822 I was told to get a new powersupply and that would be the solution, but I still don't get any video after hooking up my new power supply. This is the PSU I bought: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?...N82E16817103937 I have absolutely no idea why I am not getting any video. Aries Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 Sorry, my video card is a 6600 GT. I finally got the video working and it had to do with my cpu not being properly placed. I've installed windows, and all necessary drivers and what not. I tried out my new system on Doom 3 and for some reason, it ocassionally just shuts down and reboots or the game freezes. Why is it doing this? Also, how do I know if my memory is using dual channel or not? I have both sticks in the 2nd and 4th slot on the motherboard as instructed. dspayre Posted June 16, 2005 Posted June 16, 2005 When you boot up, it says whether it is in Dual channel or single channel. If you still have the DFI logo screen come on when you boot, you need to disable it in the bios settings. Chances are, you are running in dual channel if you put the sticks in slot 2 and 4 (provided they are identical memory sticks). Oh check out my memory settings in my signature or in the overclocking database. I can't guarantee it will work with your memory as corsair doesnt bin the value select chips.....so our chips may be very different despite having the same model of ram (value select) Share this post Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
