oliveryochest Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 For those of you who have problems with chipset temps, rest assured, the DFI Freezer is able to fit on DFI NF4 mobos, even with 2 6800U. The only company that has this is in Germany. The price is also very high... so if you want something to cool down your chipset, you can get this. I found an artcle on it. here it is http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/Mips/DFIFreezer if you want to order one, here is the website also *EDIT* http://www.mips-computer.de/ They also have other great things as well. but of course for a cost. WizZard Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 If it took 1/2" tubing natively I would buy it. The also have a cool WC MOSFET block for the DFI Lanparty nF4 motherboards!

WizZard Posted June 14, 2005 Posted June 14, 2005 There's no alternative though! The DD A8N Maze4 chipset cooler is $40 which works out to be around €35, so €45 is not that big a difference for us Europeans.

It actually has very little impact on the flow.
stu_allen Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 There's no alternative though! . Two koolance blocks fit just fine. - GPU-180-H06 (CHC-A09) and CHCA05. Both are 8mm od tubing though.
century child Posted June 20, 2005 Posted June 20, 2005 If it took 1/2" tubing natively I would buy it. The also have a cool WC MOSFET block for the DFI Lanparty nF4 motherboards! I'm with you. I've got a danger den system with 1/2" tubing. This block has 1/4" threads but they are of the German pipe thread standard, which is different from the American 1/4" standard and it is a real b1tch to find a 1/4" German standard to 1/2" hose barb. To make matters worse, Britain also has their own standard. It's good that we have standards isn't it?
WizZard Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 Yeah, standards are great. Also found this block. Swedish page though! I think he custom makes them The Lunaforce (Italian) block is native 1/2", no idea if Italy has their own "standard" though.

Guest cyclepath Posted June 21, 2005 Posted June 21, 2005 I've just purchased the lunaforce block in 12mm (1/2" ish). Looks a bit more unrestrictive than some of the other options. Thanks for the link WizZard
