To telnet in linux to another computer. open a terminal ( in gui) or in the console type:

telnet ip or hostname here

example: telnet 172.23.124.79

Or to telnet "in to" linux from windows, open a ms-dos prompt and type:

telnet ip or hostname here

example: telnet 172.23.124.79

You type: telnet, in linux and it says no such command?

If so.. you'll have to go download it :)

If your running mandrake or redhat its best to search for it at rpmfind.net and just download and install the rpm.
