oblivescence Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 c'mon man, you can rant better than this. there wasnt even any aliens or baseball bats or chainsaws in this rant. i expected much better. anyways, what connection do you have that wont give you under 100 ms pings. have you tried pinging google or any other website, it might be your internet connection and not bf2. also could be a router or firewall. i doubt its the softwares fault. SVTmofo Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 naw ive got comcast, all other games work fine, my avg ping in CS source is 9-15 on the servers i get on, any valve game that is. ut2k4 good pings, even disconnected the router and goin right off the modem to see if it was a port issue. of course i patched the game, uninstalled both completely and reinstalled and patched again. no luck. I like playing on ranked servers its really the only ones i play on but they are always full and WTF is up with this prioity messages. But bf2....makes me want to snap! Excellent game, when it works. Be one map, pulling 80fps average. Nextmap boom! choppy, but still with a roughly fine fps, the game always crashes, I gain ranks without playing (? I dont know how) But my main beef is the random lag, you can be playing constant for 2 hours, then all of a sudden bf2 will go gay, lag like a gay faggit whore and then I dont play it for another 3 months. and nevermind the new patch that wont install because I dont have 3 gigs of free space! WhenKittensATK Posted December 13, 2005 Posted December 13, 2005 usually when the server list doesnt load it cause you have to many reqs in the filter. lol hope they fix it. so just take off all your check marks but same mod one. then refresh. i suggest just boomark all your favorite servers like i did. says time from looking all over the place for a server.
