Braegnok Posted September 20, 2018 Posted September 20, 2018 (edited) If it's DVD+RW type,.. you can always erase it and write it again,.. unless you clicked "lock" when you ripped it last time, clicking "Finalize" will not lock the disk, it will close session so it can not be extended without erasing. ir_cow Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 I don't know. They use to say it on the label, like "10 Time Re-writes!" or something. Even if you finalize a Rewritable you can still blank it out I thought.. Maybe not?

dling Posted September 28, 2018 Posted September 28, 2018 Well I was able to wright to the new disk. So I must have done something to the other one. All though the disk is over 10yrs old, maybe it just lost its ability to be written on. Oh well it's fixed now with a new disk. Thanks for all the input guys.
