Guest_Jim_* Posted September 19, 2018 Posted September 19, 2018 In 2016 Nintendo announced its NES Classic Edition, and a year later the SNES Classic Edition, both of which have proven to be great successes and it appears Sony took notice. The company has announced it will be releasing PlayStation Classic, a recreation of the original PlayStation that will have 20 of the console's games onboard. We do not have a complete list of the games yet, but Sony has listed five already: Final Fantasy VII TEKKEN 3 R4: Ridge Racer Type 4 Jumping Flash! Wild Arms It comes with two controllers with the same design as the originals, so you will be able to enjoy local multiplayer with friends. Like the Nintendo classic consoles, the PlayStation Classic will have HDMI out and be powered over USB, though it will not include a USB AC adapter. The PlayStation Classic will release on December 3 and cost $99.99, though pre-orders are up now. slick2500 Posted September 23, 2018 Posted September 23, 2018 Does it play Playstation games? I have a stack of Playstation games.
Guest_Jim_* Posted September 24, 2018 Posted September 24, 2018 Does it play Playstation games? I have a stack of Playstation games. No, it most likely does not. It would be a solid-state device, so no media drive capable of receiving a PlayStation game disc. Whatever the 20 PlayStation 1 games are that it will come with will be it. Yeah now that I look at the pictures more, I highly doubt you could fit a disc in it.
