No, this is not April 1, but I think some may initially think it is. Ubisoft has announced it has worked with R/GA to create the Spartan skill for Amazon Alexa, allowing you to ask questions of your Echo devices and get the responses in the voice and swagger of a Spartan hero. Alexios will tell you the weather, a joke, and can add events to your calendar as well starting today, but come October 2, when those who pre-ordered the Gold Edition of the game get early access, you will be able to ask for historical information about various locations in Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

In addition to this Alexa skill, a limited edition Amazon Echo Plus has also been produced. This special version of the device is meant to resemble a Spartan helmet. If you want to try to win one of these devices, you will just need to share the video on Facebook, which you can find at the source link below, along with competition rules.

Assassin's Creed Odyssey releases on October 5 for PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. If you are also looking for a new graphics card, AMD has its Raise the Game promotion going on currently that will get you this game along with Strange Brigade and Star Control: Origins, which releases on September 20, when you purchase an AMD RX 570, RX 580, RX Vega 56, or RX Vega 64 card.
