Absolver is an online multiplayer combat game that released last year to challenge fans to master the martial arts, and later this month it will receive a free expansion titled Downfall. With this expansion comes three major updates; Downfall Mode, Faejin Combat Style, and School Challenges. With Downfall Mode players will need to battle through the Adalian Mines, a new, procedurally sequenced area holding upgraded enemy combatants and three bosses. For the experienced players looking to challenge themselves even more, the Faejin Combat Style mixes defense and offense with percussive strikes and fluid power. It features shifting defensive abilities and two dozen attacks for bare hands, wargloves, and armed combat. Finally the School Challenges are open to those who have achieved Disciple rank and put them through 1v1 combat trials using only the school's decks and powers. Victory earns the school a point and the seasons last three weeks, at the end of which rewards are given.

Besides these three major updates, there will also be six unique gear sets, six emotes, and three PvP intros added to the game come September 25. The expansion will be free to for all players, on both PC and PlayStation 4.
